A lens barrel assembly has a first groove formed in a stationary barrel. A second groove is formed in a rotatable barrel. A diaphragm control plate portion is disposed between an inner surface of the rotatable barrel and an iris diaphragm device in a rotatable manner in a circumferential direction, has an end portion connected to a driving ring. An engaging groove is formed in the diaphragm control plate portion to extend along the optical axis. An operable aperture ring is disposed outside the stationary barrel. A pin device has first and second end portions, the first end portion being secured fixedly to the aperture ring, the second end portion being inserted through the first and second grooves and the engaging groove, for operating upon rotation of the aperture ring to cause the engaging groove to rotate the diaphragm control plate portion to actuate the driving ring.

Lens barrel assembly having iris diaphragm device and projector

A lens barrel capable of forming high-accuracy barrel body and simply adjusting a tilt and a position in an optical axis direction without using dedicated portions is provided. The lens barrel includes a front barrel and a rear barrel. An inner diameter of a portion, containing a focus lens of the front barrel, is 1.15 times or more as large as an inner diameter of a portion containing a zoom lens of the rear barrel. The rear barrel and the front barrel are coupled by a coupling screw. A convex portion has an adjustment face for adjusting a distance between the focus lens and the zoom lens and is formed on a coupling face of the front barrel. A convex portion includes a reference face serving as a reception portion and is formed on the rear barrel.

Lens barrel

A peripheral surface of a coating rod has an area where grooves (convex portions) are formed. This area is ground by a grinding apparatus by which a maximum height Ry of the rod surface is adjusted to 15 &#x3bc;m or less. Further, a ratio of D/W is adjusted to 0.01 or more, wherein D is a total distance of the convex portions of the rod actually abutting on a web in an axial direction of the rod, and W is a coating width of the web. Furthermore, straightness of the rod is adjusted to 30 &#x3bc;m or less per 1 m, and roundness of the rod is adjusted to 10 &#x3bc;m or less. Micro-projections are removed by grinding so that scratches of a coating surface are prevented from occurring. Coating unevenness is prevented by improving the straightness and the roundness.

Coating rod and producing method therefor

A cam barrelrotates in one way in varying a power to move four lens holding frames in the same direction by displacements of four cam openingsto. Cam barrel cam followersare provided on an outer periphery of the cam barrel. The cam barrel cam followersare passed through cam barrel cam openingsprovided to a fixed barrel being arranged on an outer periphery of the cam barrel, and engage with a power variation driving ring arranged on an outer periphery of the fixed barrel. The power variation driving ring is used to rotate the cam barreland move respective lens holding frames. Since the cam barrel cam followersengage with the cam barrel cam openings, the cam barrelis moved according to displacements of the cam barrel cam openingswhile holding respective lens holding frames.

Zoom lens device

A slide bead coating method and apparatus which is able to form a stable bead over the width of coating solutions and regularly coat the coating solutions on a web to an edge region and which is able to change the width of the coating solutions without stopping the coating operation even if the width of the web changes. A discharged liquid from a nozzle is applied on both side edges of the coating solutions flowing down a slide surface. Thereby, the stable bead can be formed at the side edges of the coating solutions, so that the coating solutions can be coated on the web to the edge region. Edge bead is formed at both side edges of the coating solutions through the nozzle, so that the width of the coating solutions can be adjusted.
