An electric double layer capacitor including a positive electrode assembly and a negative electrode assembly, each electrode assembly having a porous layer including a carbonaceous powder and a fluorine-containing polymer formed on at least one side of an aluminum foil current collector, the positive electrode and the negative electrode being disposed so that the porous layer of the positive electrode assembly and the porous layer of the negative electrode assembly face each other with a separator interposed therebetween to form an element, the element being impregnated with a non-aqueous electrolyte and accommodated in a sealed container, wherein the thickness of the porous layer is from 80 to 200 &mgr;m, the thickness of the aluminum foil current collector is from 20 to 80 &mgr;m, the thickness of the separator is from 30 to 170 &mgr;m, and the density of the porous layer is from 0.50 to 0.80 g/cm , wherein the capacitor has such a structure that a plurality of the positive electrode assemblies and the negative electrode assemblies are alternately laminated with a separator interposed therebetween, or strip positive electrode assemblies and negative electrode assemblies are wound with a separator interposed therebetween.

A polytetrafluoroethylene agglomerated product obtained from a polytetrafluoroethylene powder and a coke powder, wherein the polytetrafluoroethylene powder contains at least 8.3 mass % of a polytetrafluoroethylene fine powder having a particle diameter of from 0.1 to 9.5 &mgr;m, and the mass ratio of the polytetrafluoroethylene powder/the coke powder is 95-60/5-40.

A PTFE composition comprising a dispersion-polymerized polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) and a filler, wherein the powder irregular shape ratio of the PTFE is at most 50%, and a PTFE granulated product obtained by granulating the PTFE composition. The composition is produced by jetting high pressure water to a mixture comprising the dispersion-polymerized PTFE and the filler. The dispersion-polymerized PTFE composition and granulated product thus obtained are suitable for molding.
