A medical tube made of an organic polymer having a mechanical loss tangent of at least 0.5 at body temperature and a modulus of transverse elasticity of 1-1000 MPa at body temperature. The medical tube of the present invention can be easily inserted into the body, and gives less pain and less feeling of physical disorder during indwelling in the body or removal from the body.

A moisture-permeable waterproof fabric comprising a textile fabric and, provided on at least one surface of said textile fabric, a resin film comprising a polyurethane resin produced by reacting an isocyanate with a polyol and a chain extender and having a glass transition temperature in the range of from -20.degree. to 20.degree. C. and an ethylene oxide unit content of at least 7.0 mol/kg. The moisture-permeable waterproof fabric is produced by coating at least one surface of a textile fabric with a solution of a resin in a polar organic solvent, the resin comprising a polyurethane resin, and subjecting the coating to wet solidification in a coagulation bath to form a film, or coating a release paper with a solution of a resin in a polar organic solvent, the resin comprising a polyurethane resin, to form a resin film and adhering the resin film on at least one surface of a textile fabric.

Moisture-permeable waterproof fabric and process for producing the same

A process for producing a coil spring comprises steps of: cold drawing a wire comprising: C in an amount of 0.55 to 0.75% by weight; Si in an amount of 1.00 to 2.50% by weight; at least two primary metals selected from the primary metal group consisting of: Mn in an amount of 0.30 to 1.5% by weight; Ni in an amount of 1.00 to 4.00% by weight; Cr in an amount of 0.50 to 2.50% by weight; Mo in an amount of 0.10 to 1.00% by weight; at least one secondary metal selected from the secondary metal group consisting of: V in an amount of 0.05 to 0.60% by weight; Nb in an amount of 0.05 to 0.60% by weight; and the balance of substantially Fe; oil quenching and tempering the wire; hot tempering the wire, thereby preparing the tempered wire whose tensile strength .sigma.b falls in the range of from 1370 to 1670 N/mm.sup.2 ; cold coiling; hardening and tempering; grinding; gas nitriding; high strength two-stage shot peening; and low temperature annealing the tempered wire. Accordingly the present process can product the coil spring whose endurance limit .tau.m is 687.+-.560 MPa and which has high strength and high fatigue resistance without breakage.

Process for producing a coil spring

A method and apparatus whereby information appearing on a CRT screen (410) is separately displayed in braille, using a braille web (100) in a loop form and made partly or wholly from a shape memory resin. The information from a CRT screen (410) is input to the web (100) by a braille printer (300) at a temperature within a range below the glass transition temperature of the resin. After the information has been read by the user, the displayed web portion is heated above the glass transition temperature by a heating roller (200) so that the web recovers its original, non-braille shape. The web is conveyed by a driving roller (210) along with the heating roller (200) and a driven roller (220) in the directions indicated by arrows in FIG. 1 for repeated use.
