The position detection unit excites a first magnetic pole to detect the position of the container and applies a voltage to at least one second magnetic pole that is peripheral in a predetermined range from the first magnetic pole and is different from the first magnetic pole in a direction in which the polarity becomes opposite to the exciting current of the first magnetic pole, and a process of estimating the position of the container based on the current value of the first magnetic pole.

An object of the present invention is to provide a drive system for a dump truck capable of suppressing increase in size of a converter that controls a two-winding induction generator. Each electromagnetcomprises: teethandincluding a magnetic body; and windingsandwound around the teethand. A transport device and a transport method efficiently increase a thrust to suppress power consumption. The transport device has a first magnetic body on a side of a to-be-transported object, a magnetic circuit with a core consisting of a second magnetic body, and a winding wound around an outside of the core, and a drive circuit supplying a current to the winding of the magnetic circuit. The magnetic circuit has first and second magnetic circuits, and in a case where the first magnetic body is located on a side of the second magnetic circuit relative to a first predetermined position between the first magnetic circuit and the second magnetic circuit, the drive circuit supplies a current to a winding of the first magnetic circuit in such a manner to cause an electromagnetic repulsive force to be generated between the first magnetic body and the first magnetic circuit.

Transport device and transport method

It is an object of the present invention to provide a drive system including an induction generator comprising some primary windings that has a main winding and an auxiliary winding, the drive system being capable of supplying electric power required by an auxiliary inverter, even in a regenerative mode of operation in which only the auxiliary winding is energized. The maximum current value of a converter for power generating is set on the basis of the maximum output power of the auxiliary winding of the induction generator and the minimum voltage applied to the auxiliary winding unless a traction inverter is in a regenerative mode of operation, and the non-load current value of the induction generator is set such that the maximum current in the auxiliary winding under the situation of the traction inverter being in the regenerative mode of operation does not exceed the maximum current in the converter for power generating.

In an electric drive system in which a battery is not connected to a DC bus, even when a load on a traveling electric motor increases suddenly, it is made possible to avoid such a situation that the DC bus voltage drops to a level equal to or lower than an operating voltage of an inverter and the inverter stops working. To this end, a DC bus voltage drop prevention device controls such that, when the voltage of the DC bus drops below a first threshold value, the output torque of the traveling electric motor is decreased according to an amount of decrease in the voltage of the DC bus, and when the voltage of the DC bus drops below a second threshold voltage lower than the first threshold voltage, the output torque of the traveling electric motor is decreased to zero or a value within a range of magnitude with which a work vehicle stays stationary on a level ground.

Conveying device

An induction motor overheat monitoring method and device detects overheating of an induction motor from a detection value of a current sensor. A resistance calculation relationship data indicating a relationship between a resistance and a feature amount at the time of starting of the induction motor and a determination reference value for determining overheating are stored in advance. At each starting, a current of the induction motor is detected, a signal regarding a phase angle difference is calculated, and a feature amount of the motor is calculated from the signal regarding the phase angle difference. Further, a resistance of the induction motor is calculated by using the feature amount of the motor and the resistance calculation reference data stored in advance. Then, a temperature of the induction motor is calculated from the resistance of the induction motor, and it is determined if the motor is overheated.
