A polyolefin resin composition of the present invention comprising 0.01 to 2.0 parts by weight of an anti-blocking agent per 100 parts by weight of a polyolefin resin, wherein said anti-blocking agent has substantially two or more maximum values in a weight-based particle size distribution and a difference between a particle diameter giving the largest maximum value and a particle diameter giving the smallest maximum value is not less than 3.0 .mu.m.

The invention provides an olefinic thermoplastic elastomer composition which is excellent in flexibility, processability into sheet and appearance of the resulting sheet and which is able to substitute for flexible polyvinyl chloride. Disclosed are thermoplastic resin compositions comprising:

A novel thermoplastic resin composition comprising a matrix of polyamide resin (E) and a disperse phase of a composition (D), said composition (D) comprising a polyphenylene ether (A), a rubber-like materail (B) and a mutual compatibilizer (C), said polyphenylene ether (A) being obtained from at least one phenol compound represented by the formula: ##STR1## wherein R.sub.1, R.sub.2, R.sub.3, R.sub.4 and R.sub.5 represents a hydrogen atom, a halogen atom or a substituted or unsubstituted hydrocarbon residue, with a proviso that at least one of them is a hydrogen atom, and said polyphenylene ether (A) having a reduced viscosity .eta..sub.sp/c of 0.40-0.58 deciliter/gram, said mutual compatibilizer (C) being compatible or reactive with said polyphenylene ether and reactive with said polyamide resin, and said polyamide resin (E) having a number average molecular weight of 14,000-40,000 and an end amino group content of 50-95 mmole/kg, wherein the thermoplastic resin composition constitutes 1-65 wt. % of said polyphenylene ether (A), 1-20 wt. % of said rubber-like material (B), 0.01-5 wt. % of said mutual compatibilizer (C) and 35-97.99 wt. % of said polyamide resin (E), based on the total weight of said thermoplastic resin composition, and the weight average particle size of said disperse phase is 2 micron or less.

A thermoplastic elastomer composition which is excellent in melt-flowability and is able to afford injection molded articles superior in appearance is provided, which is a mixture comprising (A) 20-50 parts by weight of an olefinic copolymer rubber, (B) 50-80 parts by weight of an olefinic plastic having a ratio of melt index M.sub.1 /M.sub.0 of 2-50 wherein M.sub.0 is a melt index of the plastic before subjected to thermal decomposition with organic peroxide and M.sub.1 is a melt index of the plastic after subjected to the thermal decomposition with the organic peroxide, sum of (A) and (B) being 100 parts by weight, (C) 5-25 parts by weight of a mineral oil and (D) 0.1-3 parts by weight of a bismaleimide compound, said mixture being dynamically heat treated with (E) an organic peroxide after bismaleimide compound (D) is homogeneously dispersed in the mixture.
