A mounting structure for mounting a compressor to a mounting surface of a vehicle is disclosed. The compressor includes a rotating body that includes a rotary shaft and a compression mechanism. The compression mechanism is provided at least at one end of the rotary shaft in an axial direction. The compressor includes a radial bearing that supports the rotary shaft, a thrust bearing that supports the rotary shaft, and a housing that accommodates the rotating body, the radial bearing, and the thrust bearing. The radial bearing and the thrust bearing are gas bearings. The mounting structure includes a mounting foot that is made from an elastic member and fixed to the housing and the mounting surface. The resonance frequency of the mounting foot is lower than the resonance frequency of the radial bearing and lower than the resonance frequency of the thrust bearing.

Mounting structure for compressor and compressor

In a compressor of the present invention, an intermediate pressure port through which a first discharge chamber and a motor chamber communicate with each other is formed in a front housing. A refrigerant having an intermediate pressure is discharged to the first discharge chamber. Consequently, it is possible to guide the refrigerant having the intermediate pressure in the first discharge chamber to the motor chamber, and cool an electric motor, which generates heat during actuation, with the refrigerant having the intermediate pressure. In the compressor, a first impeller and a second impeller are disposed such that large diameter portions of the first impeller and the second impeller face each other. The second impeller is smaller in diameter than the first impeller.

Motor-driven turbo compressor

A motor-driven compressor that includes a metal housing accommodating a compression unit and an electric motor, a cover coupled to the housing, wherein the cover includes a resin portion and a metal shield, and the shield blocks electromagnetic noise, and a bolt that couples the cover to the housing. The housing and the cover define an accommodating chamber that accommodates a motor driving circuit that drives the electric motor. The cover includes an insertion hole into which the bolt is insertable. The shield includes a seat that surrounds the insertion hole and is held between the bolt and the housing. The cover is configured to allow for an axial force of the bolt to be applied to the seat and not to the resin portion.

Motor driven compressor

A motor-driven compressor includes a compression unit, an electric motor, a housing, a cover, wherein the cover includes a main body and a connector coupler, and the cover and the housing define an accommodating chamber, a motor driving circuit that is accommodated in the accommodating chamber and includes a circuit board, and a metal terminal held in the connector coupler, wherein the metal terminal includes first and second end portions. The cover has a shield including a first shield portion, which blocks electromagnetic noise and forms at least part of the connector coupler, and a second shield portion, which blocks electromagnetic noise and forms at least part of the main body. The first and second shield portions are coupled to each other. The second shield portion includes an insertion hole into which one of the first and second end portions of the metal terminal is insertable.

In a motor-driven scroll compressor of the present invention, a double-sided sliding bearing is provided a space between a drive bush and a boss portion. The double-sided sliding bearing has a cylindrical outer sliding member that is provided in the boss portion, and a cylindrical inner sliding member that is provided in the bush portion. In an outer boundary zone of an inner circumferential surface of the boss portion and an outer circumferential surface of the outer sliding member, and an inner boundary zone of an inner circumferential surface of the inner sliding member and an outer circumferential surface of the bush portion, relative rotation is generated. The outer sliding member and the inner sliding member have different lengths in an axial direction, and thereby form a first and a second steps at both ends in the axial direction.

Scroll compressor

A motor-driven compressor includes a housing assembly, a compression mechanism, an electric motor, a discharge port, an outlet, a discharge passage, discharge valve and a valve device. The compression mechanism is accommodated in the housing assembly. The electric motor drives the compression mechanism. The discharge chamber is formed in the housing assembly. The discharge port is formed in the housing assembly for communication between the discharge chamber and the compression mechanism. The outlet is formed in the housing assembly for communication with an external circuit. The discharge passage is formed in the housing assembly for communication between the discharge chamber and the outlet. The discharge valve is disposed in the discharge chamber for opening and closing the discharge port. The valve device is configured to adjust an opening of the discharge passage.

Motor-driven compressor and air conditioner

A motor-driven compressor includes a back pressure region that pushes a movable scroll against a fixed scroll. The back pressure region is located at a side of the movable scroll located proximate to an opposing member. A defining portion, which is arranged on a movable end face, contact an opposing end face to define the back pressure region and a suction pressure region. The opposing member includes a communicating portion. An orbiting motion of the movable scroll moves the defining portion. This intermittently communicates the communicating portion with the back pressure region and the suction pressure region.

A motor-driven compressor includes a terminal housing made of an electrically insulating material and accommodating therein an electrical connecting portion which includes a connecting terminal connecting to a conductive member and an electric wire. The compressor includes a first seal member and a second seal member to seal the inside of the terminal housing from the outside thereof. The terminal housing has a distance-increasing portion that increases the communicating distance from a compressor housing to the electrical connecting portion in the terminal housing. The distance-increasing portion allows the pressures in the terminal housing and the compressor housing to be equalized.

Motor-driven compressor

A motor accommodating chamber accommodates an electric motor such that a rotation axis of the motor is substantially horizontal. The pressure in the motor accommodating chamber is equal to the pressure in a suction chamber. A connecting passage connects a bottom portion of the motor accommodating chamber with the suction chamber. Therefore, mixture of liquids having a lowered insulating property is prevented from staying in a motor accommodating chamber.

A scroll-type compressor having a stationary scroll and a movable scroll is provided. A compression chamber is defined between a stationary scroll and a movable scroll. A refrigerant introducing passage formed in the movable scroll for introducing a refrigerant from the compression chamber to a driving mechanism. The compressed refrigerant including a lubricant introduced through the passage is affective to lubricate the driving mechanism. The compressor may also include a sump to collect the lubricant leaving the driving mechanism. Collected lubricant is reintroduced into the compression region via a suction region of the compressor.
