An angle detector including; a magnet being mounted on a rotation axle and that has a first track magnetized in P pole-pairs and second track magnetized in Q pole-pairs, a first hole device group that senses magnetic flux from the first track, a second hole device group that senses magnetic flux from the second track, a first detection unit that outputs an M-step absolute angular signal through division of one electric-angle rotation into M sections, a second detection unit that outputs an N-step relative angular signal through division of each of the M divided sections into N sections, an angle calculation unit that divides the one electric-angle rotation into [M×N] sections and calculates an [M×N]-step electric angular signal, based on the absolute angular signal and the relative angular signal, and an angle correction unit that outputs a correction angle supplemented so as to smooth the electric angular signal.

Angle detector, AC-rotating-machine controller, and electric power steering apparatus

An electric-rotating-machine rotor has a rotor core in which ring-shaped plate materials that are each magnetic materials are stacked in an axial direction and a shaft-press-fitted into an inner circumferential surface of the rotor core; the inner circumferential surface has a first press-fitting portion that is an axial-direction section into which the shaft is inserted and a second press-fitting portion that is an axial-direction section adjacent to the first press-fitting portion and into which the shaft is inserted with an interference larger than that of the first press-fitting portion, and the shaft is press-fitted into the inner circumferential surface of the rotor core from the first press-fitting portion side. As a result, the electric-rotating-machine rotor in which no gap is caused between the stacked plate materials can be realized at low cost. Moreover, it is made possible to produce the electric-rotating-machine rotor through simple processes and at low cost.

Electric-rotating-machine rotor and manufacturing method therefor

Provided is a rotor of a rotating electric machine, including: a rotor core; an end plate provided at an end portion of the rotor core in an axial direction of the rotor core; and a shaft passing through the rotor core and the end plate along the axial direction. The end plate includes: a flat plate portion that has an annular shape and is held in contact with the rotor core; and a warp portion that is formed more on an inner peripheral side of the end plate than the flat plate portion and is held in contact with the shaft. In a radial cross section of the end plate, the warp portion is warped so as to be apart from the rotor core as extending away from the flat plate portion.

Rotor of rotating electric machine and method of manufacturing rotor

In an IPM rotor, a first core sheet has a first sheet hole forming a part of an accommodation hole. The first sheet hole has an edge portion having a flat spring portion which is bent by a magnet through insertion of the magnet into the accommodation hole. A pair of recesses forming a clearance with respect to the magnet are formed at both side portions of the flat spring portion of the edge portion of the first sheet hole. A size of the clearance is set based on a relationship between a magnitude of a pressing force of the flat spring portion on the magnet and variation in pressing force.

IPM rotor

A rotor core of a rotating electrical machine has interpole bridges each disposed on an outer circumferential side with respect to a permanent magnet in a non-magnetic portion between the poles, and interpole diameter bridges each surrounded by two permanent magnets and an interpole bridge. The outer circumferential surface of each interpole bridge is formed by a first flat surface. Thus, a path of a magnetic flux passing through a magnetic gap is lengthened, so that a q-axis inductance is reduced. In addition, a width in a radial direction of each interpole bridge and a width in a circumferential direction of each interpole diameter bridge are constant, and each interpole bridge and each interpole diameter bridge are disposed so as to be perpendicular to each other to form a T shape. Thus, the concentration of stress during press-fitting of the permanent magnet into a magnet hole can be reduced.

Rotating electrical machine

In an electric driving apparatus, a first rotational angle detecting sensor that generates a signal that corresponds to rotation of a shaft is disposed between a controlling apparatus and a motor. A housing accommodates the motor, the controlling apparatus, and the first rotational angle detecting sensor together. A second rotational angle detecting sensor that generates a signal that corresponds to rotation of the shaft is disposed at a position that is further away from the motor than the controlling apparatus in the axial direction of the shaft, and is disposed outside the housing. The first rotational angle detecting sensor is a magnetic detecting element sensor that includes: a magnet rotating body that includes a magnet, and that rotates together with the shaft; and a magnetic detecting element that detects magnetism from the magnet. The second rotational angle detecting sensor is a resolver.

Electric driving apparatus

An electric power steering apparatus having independent turning mechanisms for respective four wheels of a vehicle, has a problem in that, when a turning motor fails, a turning mechanism for a corresponding wheel stops functioning, resulting in reduction in the maneuverability and the stability of the vehicle. Turning motors of turning mechanisms independently disposed for respective four wheels of a vehicle, each have a redundant configuration. Specifically, each turning motor is configured as three-phase duplexing motors having two three-phase windings and two inverters for separately driving the three-phase windings.

Electric power steering apparatus and vehicle mounted therewith

The invention includes a first power supply connector, which connects a first inverter unit that supplies a drive current to a first three-phase winding of a rotary electric machine to a first vehicle power supply, and a second power supply connector, which connects a first second inverter unit that supplies a drive current to a second three-phase winding of the rotary electric machine to a second vehicle power supply, wherein a voltage of the first vehicle power supply is higher than a voltage of the second vehicle power supply, and a current capacity of the first power supply connector is smaller than a current capacity of the second power supply connector.

Drive device-integrated rotary electric machine and electric power steering device using same

Provided is an electric power steering device including: a front-wheel steering mechanism, which is provided to front wheels of a vehicle, and includes a front-wheel steering motor as a drive source; and a rear-wheel steering mechanism, which is provided to rear wheels of the vehicle, and includes a rear-wheel steering motor as a drive source, wherein the rear-wheel steering motor is configured to be a double-inverter three-phase duplex motor, the double-inverter three-phase duplex motor including two three-phase windings and two inverters each configured to individually drive one of the two three-phase windings. Therefore, the electric power steering device is capable of, even when a failure has occurred in the steering motor of the rear-wheel steering mechanism, maintaining a function of the rear-wheel steering mechanism to secure behavior stability of the vehicle.

Phase coils include a first phase coil and a second phase coil, the phase coils are configured by connecting together end portions of the coil terminals of the first phase coil and the second phase coil that extend outward from identical radial positions in the slots axially outside the stator core so as to be radially outside a coil end group, and the coil terminals of the first phase coils of the phase coils of three phases include joint coil portions that extend outward from the slots within a pitch of one magnetic pole, are then bent so as to extend in an identical circumferential direction, and are placed in close proximity to the end portions of the coil terminals of the second phase coils that are intended for connection therewith.

Permanent magnet motor

Provided is an electric power steering device including a motor-including a first and a second three-phase windings, first and second inverter circuits configured to supply electric power to the first and second three-phase windings, respectively, a boost circuit configured to change a voltage of electric power to be supplied to each of the first and second inverter circuits, and a drive unit configured to cause, when an abnormality occurs in any one of a first system including the first three-phase winding and the first inverter circuit and a second system including the second three-phase winding and the second inverter circuit, to supply electric power at a higher voltage than a voltage before the occurrence of the abnormality to an inverter circuit included in a normal system by the boost circuit, the normal system being one of the first system and the second system, to thereby drive the inverter circuit.

A permanent magnet motor includes a rotor having a field pole of a rotor core, wherein the field pole has a radius smaller than an arc centered on a shaft of the rotor, a multiple of slits are formed in the field pole, the multiple of slits are disposed so that an interval between a first central line positioned between a multiple of the slits and a second central line positioned between a neighboring multiple of the slits increases as the first central line and the second central line head toward an outer peripheral side of the rotor core, and of the multiple of slits of the field pole, a first slit disposed in a central position of the field pole, and a second slit and a third slit disposed on either side of the first slit, are disposed within 20% of a circumferential direction width of the permanent magnet.

According to the present invention, provided is an IPM rotor of the present invention, which includes a plurality of core sheets, having hole portions configured to accommodate magnets and being laminated on one another, and the magnets are inserted in the hole portions. The IPM rotor includes a first core sheet having a spring plate portion provided to the hole portion, and a second core sheet having a recessed portion provided the hole portion. A protruding portion is provided to the hole portion of at least one of the plurality of the laminated core sheets. The protruding portion is provided to at least one of the hole portion of the first core sheet, the hole portion of the second core sheet, or a hole portion of a third core sheet to be further arranged.
