Provided is a logo-plate component including a release sheet attached to the bottom face of a logo plate having an adhesive layer on the bottom face, the release sheet being provided with a cut-away portion exposing a part of the bottom face of the adhesive layer. Equipment is shipped with the logo-plate component temporarily fixed to an equipment body by the adhesive force of the exposed portion of the adhesive layer inside the cut-away portion of the release sheet. A user for the equipment detaches the temporarily fixed logo-plate component from the equipment body, detaches the release sheet from the logo plate, and fixes the logo plate to the equipment body in a desired orientation with the adhesive layer on the back face of the logo plate.

Equipment, display-object component, and display-object fixing method

A decoration panel used as an operation button includes a decoration section between a front translucent member and a rear translucent member, and the decoration section includes a counter reflection layer superposed on a rear face of a light-shield layer. A rear reflection layer is provided between the rear translucent member and a translucent member for illumination. The decoration section is displayed as if floating at an intermediate position in a depth direction. In addition, a surface of the decoration section oriented to the rear side constitutes a counter reflection surface.

An electronic apparatus includes a remote input device, which has input-operation areas and a means for detecting input operations performed on the input-operation areas; a displaying portion for displaying selection buttons on a display; and an allocating portion for allocating the selection buttons to the input-operation areas. When the number of selection buttons is larger than that of input-operation areas, the allocating portion allocates change selection buttons indicating an allocation change to some of the input-operation areas. The apparatus further includes an input determining portion for determining, when the detecting portion detects an input operation performed on any of the input-operation areas, if the input operation is performed on the selection button allocated to the input-operation area. An allocation changing portion changes the allocation of the selection buttons relative to selected input-operation areas when the input determining portion determines that the input operation is performed on the change selection button.

Remote input device and electronic apparatus using the same

An input apparatus according to one embodiment of the present invention may include an operation member that is rotatable and is movable in a direction along a rotation axis between an extended position and a pushed-in position. When a user rotates the operation member without pushing in it, a detection output of a predetermined number of pulses can be obtained from a first detection unit each time the operation member is rotated at a predetermined angle. When a user pushes in the operation member and rotates it at a predetermined angle, detection outputs can be continuously obtained from a second detection unit. Consequently, a user can perform a rough retrieval operation on a data set-by-data set basis and a fine data selection operation on a data-by-data basis using a single operation member without repositioning the user's hand.
