The invention provides an all-solid-state battery stack with high voltage. The all-solid-state battery stack of the disclosure has a plurality of monopolar battery units stacked together via insulator layers. The monopolar battery unit also has a first current collector layer, a first active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, a second active material layer, a second current collector layer, a second active material layer, a solid electrolyte layer, a first active material layer and a first current collector layer, stacked in that order. The plurality of monopolar battery units are connected together in series.

All-solid-state battery stack

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a battery with excellent bonding of tabs and current collecting terminals. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing a battery including a plurality of a power generating element, wherein: the power generating element includes a first active material layer, a second active material layer, an electrolyte layer arranged between the first active material layer and the second active material layer, a first current collector that collects currents of the first active material layer, and a second current collector that collects currents of the second active material layer; the first current collector includes a first tab including at least a root part; a plurality of the first tab is arranged to overlap with each other in a thickness direction of the power generating element; the battery includes a first current collecting terminal electronically connected to the plurality of the first tab; and in the plurality of the power generating element, a resin layer that reinforces the root part is arranged between the first tab neighboring.

Battery

A main object of the present disclosure is to provide a battery capable of suppressing the temperature increase of an electrode terminal even when the battery is, for example, fast-charged. The present disclosure achieves the object by providing a battery comprising an electrode body, and an exterior body including an inner region configured to house the electrode body, and the battery includes an electrode terminal placed so as to extend from the inner region to an outer region of the exterior body, the electrode terminal includes an inner current collecting portion placed in the inner region and connected to an electrode tab of the electrode body, and an outer current collecting portion placed in the outer region, and a width of the inner current collecting portion is larger than a width of the outer current collecting portion.

The all solid state battery includes a plurality of the cell unit connected in series. The all solid state battery includes a cell unit A and a cell unit B, a second current collector AY in the cell unit A and a second current collector BX in the cell unit B are arranged to face each other interposing a first insulating portion, and a tab AX, a tab AY, and a tab B are fixed by a fixing member.

According to the present disclosure, the breakage of an exterior body due to rising deformation of an electrode terminal can be prevented. The manufacturing method herein disclosed includes the steps of: bringing a lower surface of a terminal connecting part into contact with a first terminal, and bringing an upper surface of the terminal connecting part into contact with a second terminal; interposing the terminal connecting part, the first terminal, and the second terminal between a horn and an anvil, and carrying out ultrasonic welding; and accommodating the electrode body into the exterior body. Such a manufacturing method is characterized in that a width dimension of the horn is longer than a width dimension of the second terminal, and a width dimension of the anvil is longer than the width dimension of the second terminal. This can prevent rising deformation of the electrode terminal, and can prevent breakage of the exterior body by the deformed electrode terminal.

Provided by the present disclosure is a batten pack in which both battery performance and durability of an all solid state battery are improved. Provided is a battery pack provided with a plurality of single batteries and a constraining mechanism. The constraining mechanism constrains the arranged single batteries in such a way that stress exists in the direction of compression along the arrangement direction. In addition, in a direction which intersects the arrangement direction, when a direction in which the external connection terminals extend is deemed to be a first direction and the direction opposite the first direction is deemed to a second direction, the constraining mechanism is configured in such a way that the stress increases from the first direction towards the second direction.

Battery pack

Provided is a battery module that allows suppressing impairment of battery performance, through suitable control of a restraining pressure that is exerted in the stacking direction of a stack, also in a case where unit cells expand/shrink when charged/discharged. The battery module is provided with a stack in which a plurality of unit cells is stacked, and with a pressure regulation member, which is disposed at least at one site from among a gap between the stacked unit cells, and a first end and a second end in the stacking direction, and which regulates a restraining pressure exerted in the stacking direction of the stack. The pressure regulation member is provided with a liquid holding section and a liquid storage section. The liquid holding section is provided with a liquid holding body capable of holding a liquid. The liquid storage section has a space capable of storing the liquid.

Sealed cell and cell pack

A secondary battery includes: an electrode body including an electrode main body, a collector foil protrusion section, and a collector foil connection portion; a first collector terminal including a first extension part that is welded to the collector foil connection portion; and a second collector terminal that is a member separate from the first collector terminal and includes a second extension part welded to the collector foil connection portion. The first extension part and the second extension part are located on the opposite sides of the collector foil connection portion. The secondary battery includes a welded joint at which both the first extension part and the second extension part are welded to the collector foil connection portion such that the first extension part, the second extension part, and the collector foil connection portion are united. The first collector terminal and the second collector terminal are united through the welded joint.

Secondary battery and secondary battery manufacturing method

A secondary battery employs a stacked electrode assembly. A current collector terminal includes a base plate portion and a current collector plate portion being continuous with the base plate portion and extending along a direction orthogonal to the base plate portion. The current collector plate portion includes a plurality of slits extending from a tip end of the current collector plate portion along a direction orthogonal to the base plate portion. A cut-out is formed in at least one of an edge of the plurality of slits and an edge of the current collector plate portion extending along a direction orthogonal to the base plate portion.

Secondary battery and current collector terminal

A battery pack is a battery pack that is configured by arranging plural chargeable-dischargeable single cells in a specified direction. Each of the plural single cells includes: an electrode body including a positive electrode and a negative electrode; and a box-shaped battery case accommodating the electrode body and an electrolyte. The two adjacent single cells in the battery pack are provided with gas discharge valves in mutually opposing surfaces of the battery cases, each of the gas discharge valves discharging gas that is produced in the battery case. In the battery cases provided in the two adjacent single cells, the gas discharge valves that are provided in the mutually opposing surfaces are disposed at positions that do not overlap each other when seen in an arrangement direction of the single cells.

A battery includes: positive and negative electrode terminals at least partially provided outside an outer packaging body; and a current cut-off device placed inside the outer packaging body. The current cut-off device is provided in either one of the positive and negative electrode terminals and cuts off an electric current path between the battery element and the either one of the positive and negative electrode when a pressure in the outer packaging body increases. The battery is provided in the movable body such that the either one of the positive and negative electrode terminals provided with the current cut-off device is placed on a vertically upper side relative to the other one of them. The current cut-off device is placed on the vertically upper side relative to a liquid level of the electrolytic solution.
