(Object) To prevent a high compression portion from being defectively formed and also a top sheet from being torn. (Means of Achieving the Object) A sanitary napkin () in which a low compression portion () and a high compression portion () are formed on a bottom surface of a compressed groove () that is recessed from a skin contact surface side. The high compression portion includes regularly-arranged high compression portions () that are regularly arranged in a longitudinal direction of the compressed groove (), a large-area high compression portion () that is irregularly arranged in the compressed groove () and has an area larger than an area of each of the regularly-arranged high compression portions (), and an auxiliary high compression portion () that is arranged at one side, in a longitudinal direction of the napkin, of the large-area high compression portion () through the low compression portion () so as to surround the one side, in the longitudinal direction of the napkin, of the large-area high compression portion ().

Absorbent article

An absorbent article, such as a sanitary napkin, a pantiliner or an incontinence pad, which improves diffusion property of a body fluid and maintains a stable absorption amount. In FIG., a sanitary napkin () includes an absorber () including an upper layer sheet () disposed at a skin side, a lower layer sheet () disposed at a non-skin side, and a highly water-absorbing polymer () disposed between the upper layer sheet () and the lower layer sheet (). The upper layer sheet () is provided with a plurality of protruding portions () bulging out to the skin side and forming space portions () to be filled with the highly water-absorbing polymer (), and a joined portion () in which the upper layer sheet () and the lower layer sheet () are joined to each other intermittently on the peripheral edges of the protruding portions () along the circumferential directions.

Sanitary napkinmakes it easy to deform along a shape of a body and make it difficult to generate twists or leakage.

The present invention is intended to make the deformation of the absorber at the crotch portion less prone to influence the waist side of the absorber and allow the waist side of the absorber to be easily rounded along the surface of the wearer's body. The foregoing issue is solved by a disposable diaper including an absorber in a crotch portion, a ventral-side portion, and a dorsal-side portion, wherein the absorber is divided in a front-back direction by width-direction slits continuing in the width direction provided on both front and back sides of the crotch portion, and concave portions recessed toward the waist side are formed in width-direction centers of waist-side edges of the width-direction slits.

When the article is applied to shorts, the first release paper sheet is removed, and the main body displacement-preventing adhesive layer and the wing displacement-preventing adhesive layers of the absorbent article are fixed to the shorts that are pulled down. Then, the shorts are pulled up and worn, and the second release paper sheets are removed to fix the seat displacement-preventing adhesive layers to the shorts.

An absorbent article comprises an absorbent interposed between a liquid-permeable surface sheet and a back sheet. The absorbent is constituted of a set of left and right absorbent elements arranged substantially along the longitudinal direction of the absorbent article. The body fluid absorbing article comprises an absorbent sandwiched between a body fluid permeable surface member and a body fluid impermeable back member. Said absorbent includes an upper layer and a lower layer sequentially from the side of said body fluid permeable surface member, and said lower layer has a higher density than that of said upper layer.
