A connector includes a housing having a fitting part that is inserted and fitted into a counterpart fitting part, a shield shell having a shell flange part disposed opposite a wall surface of a counterpart wall body with an interval therebetween, a first watertight member between the fitting part and the counterpart fitting part, and a second watertight member that is crushed between the shell flange part and a wall surface of the counterpart wall body. The housing has a housing flange part with an outer peripheral surface thereof disposed inside an outer peripheral edge of the shell flange part and outside an inner edge of the shell flange part, and with a contact surface with an annular shape in contact with the wall surface of the counterpart wall body.

Connector with improved insulating capabilities

A wire harness includes a cable constituted of a plurality of electric wires bundled together so as to include a plurality of cable ends and a plurality of connectors mounted one-to-one on the plurality of cable ends, wherein each of the plurality of connectors includes a connector terminal connected to an end of the electric wire, a tubular housing body accommodating the connector terminal, and a flange formed to project from an outer circumferential surface of the housing body. On a fitting side for fitting with a mating connector, the flange has a rugged shape that differs between the plurality of connectors.

A connector includes a terminal fitting, a housing, a front holder to which an engagement part of the housing is inserted along an inserting direction of the engagement part with respect to a counterpart engagement part, and a water-stopping member with an annular shape that closes an annular space between a projection part from the front holder at an outer peripheral wall surface of the engagement part and an inner peripheral wall surface of the counterpart engagement part. The front holder includes a retained part that projects toward the outer peripheral wall surface of the engagement part. The water-stopping member includes a retained part that projects inward relative to an inner peripheral surface. Connector

A connector includes a terminal fitting, a housing that houses the terminal fitting at a housing complete position, and a terminal retaining member that, at an assembling complete position to the housing, retains the terminal fitting remaining at the housing complete position. The terminal fitting includes a penetration hole. The terminal retaining member includes a retaining protrusion that is, at the assembling complete position, inserted into the penetration hole at the housing complete position, and retains the terminal fitting while the terminal fitting remains at that position. The penetration hole is formed to have a left-right asymmetric shape including a first hole part on the left side and a second hole part having a shape different from a shape of the first hole part and arranged on the right side of the first hole part.

A connector includes: a terminal fitting; a housing containing the terminal fitting inside and provided with a fitting portion inserted and fitted into inside of a hole-shaped counterpart fitting portion of a counterpart wall member; and a shield shell including a cylindrical portion covering, from outside, a projecting portion of the housing projecting from the counterpart fitting portion, a flange portion projecting outer than an outer circumferential surface of the cylindrical portion and a fixed portion bent from an end portion of the flange portion and fixed on an end surface of the counterpart wall member. The shield shell is provided with a bent portion between the flange portion and the fixed portion, and a bulging portion including an inner wall surface positioned inside a curve of the bent portion at an end portion in an extending direction of a bending line of the bent portion.

A seal member for waterproofing in the waterproof connector includes: a cylindrical inner tube portion that is face-to-face attached to an outer peripheral surface of a connector main body that is attached to a through-hole provided with a tapered opening; and an outer tube portion surrounding the inner tube portion in a circumferential direction at a rear side of an insertion direction into the tapered opening and opening in a larger diameter than the inner tube portion, and integrated with the inner tube portion at a front side in the insertion direction, and when the seal member is received between the outer peripheral surface of the connector main body and an inner peripheral surface of the tapered opening, face-to-face attached to the inner peripheral surface of the tapered opening while being pressed toward the inner tube portion.

A terminal crimping method includes covering an end portion of an electric wire with a fixing cylinder portion of a terminal including a flange portion which protrudes toward an outer periphery and which has at least one notch along a radial direction, caulking and crimping the fixing cylinder portion by a pair of dies including pressing projections, and caulking the fixing cylinder portion by the pressing projections to form crimp recess portions, in the caulking and crimping the fixing cylinder portion.

A terminal crimping method includes covering an end portion of an electric wire with a fixing cylinder portion of a terminal, caulking and crimping the fixing cylinder portion by a pair of dies including pressing projections each having a flat shape in which a length in one axial direction is longer than a length in the other axial direction orthogonal to the one axial direction in a plan view, and caulking the fixing cylinder portion by the pressing projections to form crimp recess portions, in the caulking and crimping the fixing cylinder portion.

A connector includes a terminal-equipped electrical wire, an inner housing, an outer housing, and a front holder. The terminal-equipped electrical wire includes an electrical wire and a terminal, the terminal having a box-shaped portion configured to fit with a mating terminal in a fitting direction intersecting with an extending direction of the electrical wire. The inner housing includes a terminal accommodating chamber. The outer housing includes an electrical wire leading-out opening and a housing fitting opening. One or more pressing protrusions are provided on at least one of the terminal and the front holder. When the outer housing is fitted to the mating connector, the one or more pressing protrusions are elastically deformed by a fitting pressing force acting on the front holder to press and urge the box-shaped portion toward inside of the terminal accommodating chamber.

A connector includes an electric wire, an inner housing, an outer housing and a cover part. The electric wire includes a terminal which is provided at an end of the electric wire. The inner housing includes a terminal accommodation chamber configured to accommodate the electric wire with the terminal. The outer housing is configured to accommodate the inner housing. The inner housing has an opening which opens in a terminal fitting direction intersecting with an extending direction of the electric wire so that the electric wire and the terminal are inserted into the terminal accommodation chamber through the opening. The cover part is configured to cover a part of the opening.

A shield connector includes an outer housing accommodating a shield shell in a shell insertion direction. A stepped part protrudes from an inner wall of the outer housing to support the shield shell. A cover plate portion of the shield shell includes a bendable side portion extending along the shell insertion direction. A tip imaginary line of an end face of the stepped part is curved so that a position of the end face corresponding to the joining portion is located on a far side from an electric wire pullout opening in the shell insertion direction than a position of the end face corresponding to the bendable side portion, to thereby urge the cover plate portion in a bending direction when an inner housing with the shield shell is inserted into the outer housing.

In an attachment structure, a current sensor and an electric conductive member are attached to a housing in a state in which an electric connection portion of the electric conductive member is passed through a measurement hole of the current sensor. The current sensor includes a guide protrusion protruding from a sensor body. The housing includes: a guide wall portion including a guide wall which includes a first side surface opposing the electric conductive member, and which extends along a first direction in which the sensor body moves when attached to the housing, to guide the guide protrusion; and a rotation restricting wall portion which is disposed on the first side surface, and which restricts the electric conductive member from being rotated by a load that is imposed when the electric conductive member is connected to a connection counterpart.
