Various implementations of a bone anchoring assembly comprise a bone anchor and an insert. The bone anchor comprises a proximal end, a distal end, an outer profile suitable for defining a firm and stable coupling with the bone tissue, and a seat open at the proximal end, in which the seat defines an axis. The insert defines an axis that is suitable for being received in the seat of the bone anchor and comprises a proximal end, a distal end, and one or more eyelets placed at the proximal end. Moreover, the seat and the insert comprise snap coupling means suitable for axially retaining the insert in the seat and suitable for allowing the free rotation of the insert in the seat around the axis of the insert.

Bone anchoring assembly

A bone anchor for attaching a suture thread or ligament comprises a main body extending along a longitudinal axis and having a fork-shaped end portion. The end portion is provided with a first and a second fork arm each extending between a constrained end and a free end and spaced apart by an axial slit for receiving a suture thread. Said first and second fork arms have, at their constrained ends, a transverse notch defining two axial retention shoulders for the suture thread.

Bone anchor for attaching a suture thread or ligament

Various implementations include a tool for the subcutaneous cutting of tendons. The tool includes a shaft, arranged along a longitudinal axis, having a proximal end and a distal end, a grip, provided at the proximal end, comprising a fixed handle and a movable trigger, and a cutting head placed at the distal end, which comprises a tendon harvesting tip provided with a groove and a blade. The blade and the harvesting tip are movable relative to each other on a plane which contains the longitudinal axis of the shaft. The blade is inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of said shaft.

Tool for the subcutaneous cutting of tendons

An extraction system for bone staples provided with a first and a second element, comprising a main gripping body having a distal end and a proximal end. The device comprises, in addition, a central rod provided with a proximal end and a distal end, the latter adapted to couple with the first element of the staple. The central rod slides axially within the main gripping body between a first position and a second position by means of suitable movement means. The device has a plurality of abutment elements protruding in the axial direction from the distal end of the main body, which are arranged circumferentially around the central rod, adapted to act on the second element of the staple to obtain, in cooperation with the movement of the central rod, the separation of the second element of the staple from the first element of the staple and the removal thereof.

Extraction device for bone staples

A surgical device comprising a handling member comprising a sleeve with a central slot and a guiding pin, a guiding element that can be slid into the central slot and externally having a guiding groove that is slidably coupled to a guiding pin, locking means configured to lock the sliding of the guiding element inside the central slot, and switchable between an activation configuration, wherein the movement of the guiding element inside said central slot is prevented, and a deactivation configuration, wherein the movement of the guiding element is free. The guiding groove comprises a first and a second rectilinear groove portion, angularly spaced apart and mutually interconnected by means of a transversal connecting groove portion interposed between said first and said second rectilinear groove portions.

Surgical device

A surgical device for arthroscopy includes an insertion arm having a folded contact end, a handle connected to a connection end of the insertion arm, opposite to the folded contact end, and extending transversely to the insertion arm, and a retrieval element connected to the insertion arm and mobile along the insertion arm between a retracted position and an extracted position in which it intercepts a leading end of a suture thread at the folded contact end, and mobile between the extracted position and the retracted position in which it holds the leading end. The retrieval element is a basket made of flexible material defining a containment volume for receiving said leading end of the suture thread. The containment volume is configured to expand in the transition between the retracted position and the extracted position and to shrink in the transition between the extracted position and the retracted position.

Various implementations described herein relate to a minimally invasive auxiliary tool for knee surgery. The tool comprises a handle in proximal position, a shaft defining an axis, and a shaped tip in distal position. In the tool: the handle, the shaft, and the shaped tip define a channel that connects the proximal end with the distal end of the tool; and the perimeter of the shaped tip comprises a plurality of sectors, wherein each sector is defined by a respective circular arc centred on the axis and wherein the circular arcs that define the various sectors have respective radii that are different the one from the others. Various implementations also include a kit comprising a tool and a bone reamer.

Minimally invasive auxiliary tool for knee surgery

Various implementations include an alignment device for carrying out a periacetabular osteotomy operation on a patient that includes a patient-specific acetabular unit, to be fixed in a univocal position on the iliac bone, in proximity of the acetabulum; a patient-specific iliac unit, to be fixed in a univocal position on the iliac bone, in a lateral position with respect to the acetabular unit; and a patient-specific bridge, to be connected in a rigid and univocal manner to the acetabular unit and to the iliac unit. The acetabular unit and the iliac unit assume a first mutual position incompatible with the bridge. When osteotomy is carried out and the bridge is connected to the acetabular unit and the iliac unit, they assume a second position, different from the first position and corresponding to a bio-mechanically correct position of the acetabulum with respect to the remaining portion of the iliac bone.

Alignment device for a periacetabular osteotomy

Various implementations include a cutting tool for the horizontal incision of tendons. The tool comprises a stem extending along a longitudinal axis, having a distal end, a proximal end and a cutting head, located close to said distal end, having a base plate, having a longitudinal extension axis parallel to the longitudinal axis of the stem, and a blade extending on a plane parallel to the base plate. The blade has a plurality of cutting edges inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis of the cutting head according to different angles, so as to identify at least two vertices defined by two V-shaped profiles.

Cutting tool for the horizontal incision of a tendon

A template for measuring the cross section of a graft comprises a first half-body and a second half-body. The two half-bodies are mutually secured such that they can rotate the one with respect to the other around an axis, each one of the two half-bodies comprises a plurality of openings having known and different sizes, each one of the openings of the two half-bodies is open toward the outside through an at least partially radial slot. The two half-bodies can rotate the one with respect to the other around the axis between an open position and a closed position and vice versa. In the open position the slots of the first half-body axially coincide with the slots of the second half-body, and in the closed position the openings of the first half-body axially coincide with the openings of the second half-body.

Template and method for measuring the cross section of a graft

A cutting tool for the vertical incision of tendons comprising a shaft extending along a longitudinal axis, having a distal end and a proximal end, and a cutting head, located close to said distal end, having a plurality of blades. The cutting head lies on a plane parallel to the longitudinal axis of the shaft and is connected to the latter by a coupling inclined with respect to the longitudinal axis by an angle from 10° to 20°, preferably of 15°.
