Embodiments of the invention relate to a sealing element for thermally joining thermoplastic materials along a bent or cambered contour, including a plurality of heating elements which each has a flat carrier substrate with a front and a rear side, at least one heating circuit being disposed on the front side, and at least one contour element which has a bent or cambered contour, the heating elements being disposed on the contour element.

Sealing element

Embodiments of the invention relate to a sealing element for thermally connecting thermoplastic materials along a bent or curved contour, including a plurality of flat support substrates with a front face and a rear face, the substrates having at least one heating element on the front face, and including a contoured element which has a front face in the shape of the contour to be sealed, wherein the rear face of the support substrates is secured to the front face of the contoured element and/or the front face of the support substrates is secured to the rear face of the contoured element.

Sealing method

The invention relates to a sealing body, where heat-producing elements of a heating element are contacted from the rear side thereof. Other aspects relate to a sealing body where the site of the heat production and the site of the heat dissipation (i.e. the point of action) are as close to each other as possible. Other aspects relate to a sealing body comprising a heat element with a built-in temperature sensor. Other aspects relate to a sealing body with a defined sealing contour. Other aspects relate to a sealing body having a three-dimensionally structured contact surface. Other aspects relate to a sealing body with a circular, annular, or strip-type heat element. Other aspects relate to a sealing body with built-in electronic circuits. Other aspects relate to a sealing body that can cool the heating element as required. Other aspects relate to a sealing body that can suck up the material to be welded.

Sealing body

The invention relates to a device for heating preform bodies or flat or preformed semi-finished products from thermoplastic material (), comprising at least one base body (), on the surface of which at least a first layer or coating is formed, which comprises at least one electric heating resistor in the form of a flat, geometrically arranged conductor loop. The base body also has contact elements, by which the at least one heating resistor can be connected to a power source, wherein, as a result of the geometrically arranged conductor loop(s), a defined temperature profile can be generated, which can be transmitted contactlessly to the preform body or the semi-finished product by an outer contact layer formed on the first layer or coating, by contact the surface of a preform body or semi-finished product and/or by using convection or thermal radiation. During a transmission of the defined temperature profile, the preform body or the semi-finished product is arranged at a distance to the contact layer(s).

Device for heating preform bodies or flat or preformed semi-finished products from thermoplastic material

The invention relates to a cross seam joining device for a flexible packaging having at least one ultrasonic applicator (-), which is rotatably mounted on a shaft () and can be rotated about an axis () of the shaft () arranged longitudinally to the cross seam (). The ultrasonic applicator (-) is designed to produce and bundle ultrasounds in a frequency range of 0.1 MHz-0.5 MHz, preferably from 0.5 MHz-2 MHz.

Cross seam joining device for joining a sealing seam for a flexible packaging

The invention relates to a method for joining a sealing seam of a tubular bag packaging by means of an ultrasonic applicator (), characterized in that said ultrasonic applicator () generates ultrasonic waves at a frequency of between 0.1 MHz and 5 MHz, preferably between 0.5 MHz and 2 MHz. The invention also relates to a longitudinal seal joining device of a tubular bag machine for use with said claimed method.
