An electric compact tractor powered by a plurality of lithium ion battery modules housed in a battery pack. A pair of electrical bus bars connect the plurality of lithium ion battery modules in the battery pack, and extend from the battery pack to electric motors for traction drive, implement drive and steering. A low voltage control circuit may be used for turning on the plurality of lithium ion battery modules in the battery pack.

A work machine controller that is coupled to the boom assembly may comprise of a controller with a memory that stores computer-executable instructions and a processor that executes instructions. The instructions include monitoring a first position signal from the first boom position sensor, a second position signal from the second boom position sensor, the load signal, and the orientation signal. The instructions then include calculating a load vector based on the load signal and the orientation signal, generating a disorientation signal based on the load vector and a direction of travel, determining if the disorientation signal is outside a predetermined threshold, and actuating one or more of the actuators and the ground-engaging mechanism to reorient the load when the disorientation signal exceeds the predetermined threshold.

A controller communicates with a user interface and sends a first signal to a first actuator to unlock a first lock, sends a second signal to move a first ground-engaging implement into a stowed position, sends a third signal to the first actuator to lock first lock to retain the first ground-engaging implement in the stowed position, sends a fourth signal to inhibit flow through a first hose with a flow blocking element, sends a fifth signal to a second actuator to unlock a second lock, sends a sixth signal to move a second ground-engaging implement into a deployed position, sends a seventh signal to the second actuator to lock the second lock to retain the second ground-engaging implement in the deployed position, and sends an eighth signal to a second flow blocking element to permit flow through a second hose around the flow blocking element.
