Methods and systems related to supporting real time communications are disclosed. In one type of a real time communication session, prior to an offer and acceptance to perform real time communications, a communication channel may be established between a caller device and a callee device. Information related to addresses of the caller and callee devices can be contained in, or pointed to, by a Universal Resource Locators (URLs) for the caller and callee devices. A network computing device may communicate messages relating to establishing and maintaining the communication channel between the caller and callee devices. In a scenario where the network computing device becomes unavailable, another network computing device can use the URLs and other channel information that may be stored in the database, to handle messages.

Establishing and managing connections for real time communications

An application installed on a user device (e.g., a mobile device, a smart device, a communication device, a computing device, etc.) may be used to validate, authenticate, and/or authorize another application installed on and/or associated with the user device.

Methods and systems for verifying applications

This disclosure includes a method, alone or in combination with other methods or steps described herein. The method may include determining a location pattern associated with a user device connected to a first network operator, such as a mobile network operator (MNO). The location pattern may be indicative of a plurality of presences of the user device within a second network, such as a network of a multiple system operator (MSO). The user device may be configured to store a first subscriber identifier of the MSO and a second subscriber identifier of the MNO. The method may include sending, based on the location pattern, a request to activate the user device on the network of the MSO according to the first subscriber identifier and a first identifier key.

Methods, apparatuses, and systems for network accessibility

Systems, methods, and apparatuses are described for authenticating a user device and/or user application. A user device may receive, based on a first authentication request, a plurality of messages sent over a plurality of channels of communication (e.g., a message to a URL address associated with the user device and a binary Short Message Service (SMS) message). Based on information from the messages, the user device may transmit a second authentication request.

Multi-factor message authentication

Methods and systems for providing a wireless communication service are disclosed. A device identifier for a wireless communication service can be used to generate a connection profile (e.g., communication profile, wide-area network profile, service profile, network profile, etc.) for the wireless communication service that requires credentials for authentication. The connection profile can be generated in response to a user accessing or signing up for the wireless communication service. The connection profile can comprise a username that includes and/or mirrors the device identifier and a password generated by inputting the device identifier into a predefined function. The connection profile also can comprise an authentication identifier. A service provider applies a specific type of authentication for devices that provide the authentication identifier as part of an authentication request message.
