Methods and systems for facilitating photo-based estimation are described. In an aspect, a computing device is configured to receive, from the camera, a signal comprising image data. The image data may represent at least a portion of a vehicle. The computing device may also retrieve data representing a preferred scene of the vehicle and determine, based on the image data and based on the data representing the preferred scene of the vehicle, whether the image data corresponds to the preferred scene of the vehicle. The server may, when the received image data corresponds to the preferred scene of the vehicle, enable capture of the image data. The server may send, via the communications module, a signal representing the captured image data to a processing server configured to analyze the captured image data to assess vehicular damage.

System and method for enabling capture of an image of a vehicle

A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes: authenticating a user for login to a service for a first authenticated user session; in response to authenticating the user, sending, to a client device associated with the user, a first data string associated with a first validity period; receiving, from the client device after expiry of the first authenticated user session, a data access request to access protected data, the data access request including the first data string; validating the first data string based on checking the first validity period; and in response to determining that the first data string is valid, transmitting, to the client device, a data access response including at least a subset of the requested protected data.

System and method for obtaining video for use with photo-based estimation

Methods and systems for facilitating photo-based estimation are described. In an aspect, a server is configured to send via a communications module to a remote computing device a first signal comprising a chat interface. The server may receive, via the communications module and from the remote computing device, a second signal representing input received at the remote computing device through the chat interface. The server may identify an account associated with the remote computing device and retrieve policy data associated with the identified account from the data store. The server may automatically evaluate the input and policy data against predetermined criteria to determine whether a claim has a low risk level and, when the claim is determined to have a low risk level, engage a photo-based estimation module.

System and method for providing photo-based estimation

A computer-implemented method is disclosed. The method includes: authenticating a user for login to a service for a first authenticated user session; in response to authenticating the user, generating a first data string associated with a first validity period; sending, to a client device associated with the user, the first data string; receiving, from the client device, a data access request to access a first data set at a remote data source, the data access request including the first data string; determining that the first authenticated user session has been terminated at a time of receiving the data access request; validating the first data string based on checking the first validity period; and in response to determining that the first authenticated user session has been terminated and that the first data string is valid, transmitting, to the client device, a data access response including at least a subset of the first data set.

Methods and systems for facilitating photo-based estimation are described. In an aspect, a server is configured to receive, via the communications module from a remote computing device, a signal comprising image data obtained by the remote computing device, the image data including metadata identifying an image capture location and a time of image capture; obtain verification data, the verification data comprising sensor data received from the remote computing device and identifying a location of the remote computing device at the time of image capture; and evaluate the image data based on the verification data to verify the authenticity of the image data by comparing the image capture location in the metadata to the location of the remote computing device at the time of image capture.

The device receives, via the input module, a first signal representing a command to set an alert condition associated with an identifier and, in response, generates the alert condition. The device transmits a second signal representing the alert condition to a monitoring system for setting up a targeted notification. The device receives a third signal representing an asserted alert indicating that the alert condition is satisfied and displays on the display, based on the third signal representing the asserted alert, an alert notification including the identifier and a first selectable option associated with a first application interface. In response to receiving, via the input module, a fourth signal representing selection of the first selectable option, the device displays the first application interface and auto-populates a first field based on the identifier.

System and method for photo-based estimation with fraud prevention

Methods and systems for facilitating photo-based estimation are described. In an aspect, a server is configured to receive, via a communications module from a remote computing device, a signal comprising image data obtained by the remote computing device through activation of a submission application. The server may obtain verification data that includes at least one of policy data obtained from at least one of the stored profiles or sensor data received from the remote computing device. The server may evaluate the image data based on the verification data to determine whether the image data is valid. The server may, upon determining that the image data is not valid, generate an error.

In an aspect, a server is configured to provide, via a communications module to a remote computing device, a first signal comprising a live chat interface; send, via the communications module to the remote computing device, a second signal representing display data that includes a damage location indicator, the display data causing the remote computing device to overlay the damage location indicator on a vehicle model displayed within the live chat interface, the damage location indicator selectable within the live chat interface to input an indication of a damage location; and receive, via the communications module and after selection of the damage location indicator, a third signal comprising an indicator of the location of damage.
