A system for establishing an intramedullary path includes a body sized and configured to be received within a resected bone space. The body defines a first aperture that extends through the body and is sized and configured to receive a surgical tool therethrough. A first bone engaging structure extends from the body in a first direction and includes a first surface that is complementary to a surface topography of a first bone. When the first surface of the bone engaging structure engages the surface topography of the first bone to which the first surface is complementary, an axis defined by the first aperture is substantially collinear with a mechanical axis of the first bone.

Orthopedic surgical guide

A system includes a cartridge having an elongate body extending from a first end to a second end and having a top side and a bottom side. The cartridge defines a first hole adjacent to the first end that extends through the cartridge from the bottom side to the top side. The top side of the cartridge defines a pair of parallel slots that extend perpendicular with respect to a longitudinal axis of the cartridge. Each slot of the pair of parallel slots is equidistant from a central axis defined by the first hole.

A surgical helmet assembly including a ventilation system for circulating air around the head of a user. The surgical helmet assembly includes a surgical helmet including a brow bar to be positioned around the head of the user and a chin bar extending from the surgical helmet to be positioned in front of the chin of the user. The chin bar and brow bar include an airflow channel in fluid communication with a fan at the rear of the surgical helmet. The fan generates a flow of air from an airflow inlet at the rear of the surgical helmet through the airflow channel in the chin bar to an airflow outlet in the chin bar and past a user's face in an upward direction and through the airflow channel in the brow bar to an airflow outlet in the brow bar and upward over the user's head.

A method includes inserting a guide mount into a space between a talus and a tibia until a mating portion having a conformal bone engaging surface is disposed against the tibia. An instrument guide is into a cavity defined by the guide mount such that an opening defined by a superior wall of the instrument guide aligns with an opening defined by a superior wall of the guide mount. A reamer head disposed within the opening defined by the instrument guide is connected to a flexible reamer shaft that is received within a passageway defined by the instrument guide. The talus is reamed with the reamer head driven by the flexible reamer shaft.

System and method for anterior approach for installing tibial stem

A surgical device includes an elongate body extending from a proximal end to a distal end. The distal end of the elongate body defines a notch sized and configured to receive a reamer. A coupling assembly is supported by the elongate body and includes a reamer guide body disposed at the distal end of the elongate body. The reamer guide body configured to move between a first position and a second position in which the reaming guide body extends at least partially across the notch. A locking assembly is supported by the elongate body and is configured to releasably engage the coupling assembly to maintain the reamer guide body in the second position.

A surgical device having an assembly used to position a patient-specific surgical instrument with a bone of a patient, the assembly having radio-opaque and radiolucent portions that provide an indication of the instrument, and corresponding implant's alignment with respect to the bone, as well as an indication that the angle of the projection (or orientation of the view) of the alignment guide to assess the placement of the alignment guide relative to the underlying bony anatomy. The radio-opaque portion may include a plurality of Kirschner wires, fiducial markers, and may include a void allowing for alignment down a first length of the radio-opaque portion. Embodiments may be used with intra-operative fluoroscopy.
