A system, method, and apparatus for concealing searches for information stored on public networks, includes splitting of a search query, transforming the query into one or more related queries, and searching each of related queries separately.

Curtailing search engines from obtaining and controlling information

GPS devices of vehicles send routes of drivers and automatically generated coordinates of driver positions to a host application for saving on memory remote from the vehicles. Selections of saved routes by drivers and coordinates of driver positions indicating starting and completion of the saved routes are sent to the host application for storing driver trip times corresponding to the saved routes. A driver sends a request for a saved route to the host application. When the host application identifies other saved routes that have start and destination locations within predetermined distances of start and destination locations of the requested saved route, the GPS device of the driver receives at least one of the other save routes from the host application.

A computer based tool and method for automatically producing, from an existing presentation, a new presentation that fits within a specific presentation duration based on the priority associated with each element within the existing presentation and the presentation time for each individual element.

Computerized tool for creating variable length presentations

Receiving a first model associated with a user, a generic model of a generic domain, and a specific domain having an associated domain-specific corpus. A first set of query terms based on elements of the first model, and a second set of query terms based on elements of the generic model, are determined. Platform for consulting solution

A host application on a host computer system receives annotations made by drivers of respective navigation information displayed to the drivers by GPS devices in vehicles of the respective drivers. The host application saves the annotated navigation information for the respective drivers on a computer readable memory accessible by the host application. The host application receives a request from a first one of the drivers for annotated navigation information made by one or more of the other drivers. Responsive to the request, the host application selects one or more items of the saved annotated navigation information. The host application sends the selected one or more items of the saved annotated navigation information to the GPS device of the first one of the drivers.

A system and method for concealing searches for information stored on public networks, includes intercepting a sensitive query to a search engine prior to transmission of the sensitive query over a public network, transforming the sensitive query into one or more related queries, submitting the related queries over the public network to the search engine, aggregating search results from the search engine, and performing a search on the original query with a search engine privately against said search results.

A method and system for providing computerized education may provide a user with a first set of educational segments such as problem sets or presentations, and may further monitor the user's reactions and responses using electronic devices, including biometric sensors, to identify difficulty points. Reports may be generated and presented to the user or another party to assist in manual identification of the difficulty point. At least one of the interactive actions in the set of interactive actions is selected. The at least one of the interactive actions that has been selected is performed. A response from the individual is monitored in response to the least one of the interactive actions being performed. An indicator is associated with the at least one of the interactive actions based on the reaction from the individual. The indicator indicates a relative degree of success in obtaining a desired response from the individual.

A method, executed by one or more processors, includes receiving a message that is addressed to a user, determining, via one or more sensors, whether the user is occupied with an attention critical situation, and conducting a user-directed response process responsive to determining that the user is not occupied with an attention critical situation. In some embodiments, the user-directed response process includes conducting a text substitution process on the message, presenting an abbreviated version of the message and a list of response options to the user, determining a response option that is selected by the user, and sending a response to the message that corresponds to the response option that is selected by the user. In some embodiments, the list of response options includes a plurality of message-dependent formulated responses, a null response, and a spoken response.
