The present invention relates to silane-crosslinking curable compositions encompassing a polymer P having at least two terminal groups of the following formulas (I) and (II) -A-K&#x2014;SiRXY (I), -A-K&#x2014;SiRXY (II), and/or two polymers Pand P, polymer Phaving terminal groups of the following formula (I) -A-K&#x2014;SiRXY (I), and polymer Phaving terminal groups of the following formula (II) -A-K&#x2014;SiRXY (II), in which A denotes a divalent bonding group, K, K, mutually independently, denote a divalent aliphatic hydrocarbon group that has a main chain of 1 to 6 carbon atoms, the hydrocarbon groups K, Kbeing different, X, Y mutually independently denote a hydroxy group or a hydrolyzable group, R, Rmutually independently denote a hydrocarbon residue having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, and m assumes the values 0 or 1.

A method for producing a silylated polyurethane including the steps: (A) converting (i) at least polyol compound having a molecular weight of 4,000-30,000 g/mol and at least one monofunctional compound relative to isocyanates and (ii) at least one diisocyanate at a stoichiometric excess of the sum of the polyol compound(s) and monofunctional compound relative to the diisocyanate compound(s), whereby a hydroxyl-terminated polyurethane prepolymer is formed; and (B) converting the polyurethane prepolymer and one or more isocyanate silane(s) of the formula (I): OCN&#x2014;R&#x2014;Si&#x2014;(R1)(-OR2), where m is 0, 1 or 2, each R2 is an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, each R1 is an alkyl radical having 1 to 4 carbon atoms, and R is a difunctional organic group. Also compounds comprising the silylated polyurethane that can be so produced, and the use thereof as an adhesive and sealant or coating composition.
