An illumination control method includes: causing an illumination apparatus to illuminate a predetermined space with light; and controlling at least one of a color temperature of light which the illumination apparatus emits and an illuminance of the light which the illumination apparatus emits in the predetermined space, to cause an integrated value to be at least 10 &#x3bc;W&#xb7;h/cm. The integrated value is a value resulting from integrating time and an effective amount of melatonin during a first time frame from 5:00 to 14:00.

Illumination control method and illumination control apparatus

An illumination system includes a light source capable of emitting biorhythm control light, a controller that controls a lighting state of the light source, and a manipulation apparatus. The controller executes an introduction mode in which the illuminance of the biorhythm control light is set by gradually increasing or decreasing illuminance of the light source over time, and a stationary mode in which the illuminance of the light source is constantly maintained at the illuminance of the biorhythm control light.

Illumination system

A lighting system includes a plurality of lighting devices and a terminal. The terminal includes a display screen, an input unit, a communication unit, and a device controller. A lighting system includes lighting devices and a terminal. The terminal includes a display screen, an input unit, a wireless transmitter which transmits a radio signal, a communication unit which wirelessly transmits a control command to one of a communication address and a logical address for at least one of the lighting devices, specifying the one of the communication address and the logical address, and a controller which displays, on the display screen, icons respectively corresponding the lighting devices, and when an instruction for selecting any one of the icons has been received by the input unit, causes the wireless transmitter to transmit a radio signal indicating predetermined information. When one of the lighting devices which corresponds to the selected icon has received the radio signal, the lighting device transmits the communication address assigned to the lighting device itself to be used for communication with the communication unit.

A light treatment apparatus is an example of a light-emitting apparatus including a white light source, a blue light source, and a controller. The controller performs (i) constant light emission control for causing each of the white light source and the blue light source to emit light at constant brightness, and (ii) light reduction control which is performed after the constant light emission control so as to cause each of the white light source and the blue light source to reduce light intensity. The controller causes the blue light source to start reducing light intensity before causing the white light source to start reducing light intensity, and turns on the blue light source at the same time as or before turning on the white light source.
