An electric wire with a crimp terminal can improve a connection stability between a crimp terminal and the electric wire without making a fixing work of the crimp terminal troublesome. In an electric wire with a crimp terminal in which an outer peripheral surface of a conductor portion into which a plurality of metal element wires is bundled together is covered with an insulating sheath portion into an electric wire, and the conductor portion of a terminal portion of the electric wire is exposed, and a conductor crimping portion of the crimp terminal is crimped onto the exposed conductor portion, the terminal surfaces of the plurality of metal element wires are cut in alignments so that the metal element lines extend more as the metal element lines are farther from one side portion side of the exposed conductor portion in a radial direction.

Electric wire with crimp terminal

A connection structure has an electric wire and a terminal. The terminal includes a mating terminal connection portion to be connected to a mating terminal and a crimping portion which crimps to a conductor of an electric wire. The electric wire is connected to the terminal by the crimping portion. The connection structure includes an intermediate portion that is provided between the mating terminal connection portion and the crimping portion and has a housing portion which houses an end portion of the conductor, an intermediate portion sealing member that is fitted in the housing portion, and a hollow covering member that extends in an extending direction of the electric wire and covers a portion from the intermediate portion to an insulating covering region.

A water proof press contact terminal includes a base portion, a pair of first press contact pieces, a pair of second press contact pieces, and a covering member. The first press contact pieces are provided at both sides of a front part of the base portion. The second press contact pieces are provided at both sides of a rear part of the base portion, press contact a sheath of a wire. The covering member is provided on the base portion. A core wire of the wire is inserted into the covering member so as to be covered in a waterproof manner, and is press contacted by the first press contact pieces together with the covering member.

There is provided a connector capable of reducing deterioration of the noise removal capability by suppressing deformation of a ferrite. A wire connecting method and a wiring harness that allows one to utilize a single terminal for multiple core wires having various diameters thereby reducing the number and different types of terminals. The wire connecting method allows the larger wire cores first to be ultrasonic pressed such that the diameter of the larger core wires are reduced to sizes that are small enough to utilize the single terminal used on smaller core wires.
