Provided is a solid electrolyte battery that has favorable charge-discharge characteristics with impedance reduced. This solid electrolyte battery has, on a substrate, a stacked body of a positive electrode side current collector film, a positive electrode protective film, a positive electrode active material film, a solid electrolyte film, a negative electrode potential formation layer, and a negative electrode side current collector filmstacked in this order. The positive electrode active material filmis composed of an amorphous positive electrode active material. The positive electrode protective filmis composed of LiCoO, LiMnO, LiNiO, or the like.

Provided are: a solid electrolyte battery using a novel positive electrode active material that functions in an amorphous state; and a novel positive electrode active material that functions in an amorphous state. The solid electrolyte battery includes: a positive electrode layer including a positive electrode active material layer; a negative electrode layer; and a solid electrolyte layer formed between the positive electrode layer and the negative electrode layer, and the positive electrode active material includes a lithium-boric acid compound in an amorphous state, which contains Li, B, any element M1 selected from Cu, Ni, Co, Mn, Au, Ag, and Pd, and O.

A diffusion sheet includes: a substrate having a first principal surface and a second principal surface; and structures each in a convex shape formed randomly on the first principal surface or the second principal surface of the substrate. The structures have an identical or almost identical height. The structures have an aspect ratio h/r, where r denotes an average radius of the structures and h denotes an average height of the structures, of more than 0.85 and not more than 1.50. The structures have a filling factor of not less than 60% and not more than 80%.
