A seat back board includes: a flexible plate member which is made of a resin material and has the Shore hardness higher than 50, the plate member including: a back-surface covering part which covers a back surface of a seat back; and a bottom-surface covering part which covers a bottom surface of a seat cushion; a sewing part, which is sewn with a cover member covering a front surface and side surfaces of the seat back or is sewn with a coupling member to be coupled with the cover member in a detachable manner, being provided in an edge portion of the back-surface covering part; and a locking part, to be locked in the seat cushion, being provided in the bottom-surface covering part.

To provide an automotive interior part surely deploying an airbag as a result of a smooth opening and fracture of an interior-part main body onto which an outer cover is attached at the time of the deployment of the airbag. The present invention includes: a door-upper main bodycovering a vehicle compartment side of a door panela deployment sectiondeployed in tune with the deployment of an airbagtoward inside the vehicle compartment; and an outer cover having an outer-cover main bodycontinuously covering the door-upper main bodyand the deployment sectionand an overhang sectionhung over by folding a terminal end thereof. The overhang sectionincludes: an areahaving a long overhang length that extends from the end on the door-upper main bodyside of the overhang section to the opposite end of the door upper main bodyof the overhang section and an areahaving a short overhang length of the same; and a borderline sectionthat is arranged along a borderline between the areahaving the long overhang length and the areahaving the short overhang length and that initiates the fracture of the terminal end of the outer cover when the airbagis deployed.

An automotive interior component according to the present invention includes: an interior component attached to a vehicle body panel at an interior side of a vehicle; an airbag installed in a gap between the vehicle body panel and the interior component; an expanding portion defined in a partial region of the interior component, the expanding portion turning in an expansion direction of the airbag to expose an opening; first locking means made up of a first locking piece provided at a rim of the expanding portion and a first engagement portion provided at a fixed portion with which the rim of the expanding portion comes into contact, receiving the first locking piece to lock movement of the expanding portion in a turning direction; and second locking means made up of a second locking piece provided at the rim of the expanding portion and a second engagement portion provided at the fixed portion with which the rim of the expanding portion comes into contact, receiving the second locking piece to lock movement of the expanding portion in a turning radial direction.
