Conventionally, manufacturing of molded parts using composite materials has led to poor dimensional accuracy and tensile strength due to improper curing thus resulting in rejection or early/premature failure of composite part. Embodiments of the present disclosure provide simulation-based systems and methods for manufacturing/generating molded parts using reinforced composite materials. The optimized cure cycle is computed for a given component without carrying out numerous experiments. The present disclosure implements multiscale method and surrogate modeling in virtual testing for more accurate and faster manufacturing of molded parts. Process parameters for specified qualities (e.g., minimum residual stresses, minimum deformation, etc.) required for a part are determined along with least process manufacturing time. The resulting optimized time dependent cure cycle for each thermal zone of the heated mold is transferred to a master controller (e.g., system) which controls the entire curing processes with the use of feedback control.

Systems and methods for generating molded parts comprising reinforced composite materials

A method for synthesis of nanoparticles are described. The method includes dispersing metal oxide powder in a mixture of a base liquid and a surfactant to form a primary mixture, grinding the primary mixture using a grinding media by periodically adding a surfactant solution to form a slurry, extracting a predetermined amount of sample from the slurry at periodic time intervals to obtain a testing solution to assess particle size of in the slurry using a particle size analyzer; and systematically adding the surfactant solution and the grinding media to the slurry based on the assessed particle size in the testing solution until a mean particle size of the nanoparticles is achieved.

Synthesis of nano particles

Recovery of rare earth elements (REEs) from electronic wastes is a promising approach. The existing methods for separation of REE from the secondary sources are not economically viable and scalable. A method and system for separation of rare earth metals from a plurality of secondary sources has been provided. The magnet is obtained from the secondary sources which is then crushed to a coarser size. The powder is then demagnetized by heating and roasted at high temperature to obtain the metal oxides. The metals oxides are then dissolved by acid leaching to obtain leach liquor. Iron is removed from leach liquor by precipitation and separated by filtration. The individual REE is then separated by liquid-liquid extraction. The conditions in liquid-liquid extraction are adjusted such that only desired REE is separated. The extracted REE is then stripped out by acid. The individual rare earth element is then precipitated and dried.

Method and system for separation of rare earth elements from secondary sources

This disclosure relates generally to method and system for designing the formulated products. Conventional techniques for designing the formulated products, meeting final functional properties, are limited. Further, understanding user requirements and active incorporation of the user requirements during design phase is quite challenging. The present disclosure herein provides method and system that solve the technical problem of extracting the functional requirement by establishing continuous conversation with the user. An optimal prediction function for each functional requirement is determined by using a plurality of prediction models. An optimization technique along with an objective function is employed to determine optimized solutions comprising list of ingredients, possible concentration level of each ingredient, the process parameters, and the operating parameters for obtaining the desired formulation based on the user requirement.
