An image acquisition module for monitoring the external surroundings of a vehicle is provided. The image acquisition module includes a housing with a protected interior against at least moisture and a window hermetically closed by a transparent element; an electronic circuit accommodated in the housing and associated with connection device with the exterior for supply and for bidirectional signal exchange; an image detector connected to the electronic circuit and facing the window; a support attached to the housing to carry an optical system between the image detector and the window; and positioning and releasable fixation device to enable the centering of the optical system and the releasable fixation of the module to an exterior structure of a vehicle.

Image acquisition module for monitoring applications of the external surroundings of a vehicle

The invention relates to a rearview mirror assembly of an automotive vehicle with a flashing device comprising a first opening for the rearview mirror and a second opening in which an outer module is coupled inwardly defining an elongated passage delimited between two walls, an inner wall and an outer wall or cover. It further comprises a double-sided printed-circuit board transverse to the passage, including two light emitters in a first one of its sides and another light emitter in the other side and dividing the elongated passage into two areas. The emitters of the first side projects light along a first of the two areas, this light directly exiting by an end area with desired horizontal and vertical angles, and the other emitter does so along a second one of the two areas, the light exiting through the cover.

The present invention relates to a folding mechanism for exterior rear-view mirrors in an automotive vehicle, comprising a housing integral with a mirror-carrying casing, and an actuated ring acting as an axis of rotation of the mentioned casing with respect to a support chassis fixed to the vehicle, the ring being provided with first positional fixing means susceptible to coupling the mentioned ring to the support chassis and with second positional fixing means which, in collaboration with a stop element integral with the housing and loaded by un elastic member, limit the rotation of the mentioned casing around the ring and according to one rotating direction, all this with the stop element and the elastic member being integrated in a single piece with elastic properties.
