The present disclosure provides an exhaust diffuser for a gas turbine engine. The exhaust diffuser may include a hub, a casing, and a strut extending between the hub and the casing. The hub may include an angled configuration about the strut and a substantially flat configuration downstream of the angled configuration.

An exhaust gas diffuser () including: a radially-outer peripheral casing (); a hub () located within said radially-outer peripheral casing and coaxial with a center axis () of the casing; main struts () located at circumferentially-spaced locations about the hub and extending radially-outwardly to the radially outer peripheral casing; and small struts () located at circumferentially-spaced locations between the main struts; wherein the main struts and small struts have substantially parallel longitudinal chord lines and each of the small struts have a cross-sectional area smaller than a cross-sectional area of the main struts. An exhaust gas diffuser including: a radially-outer peripheral casing; a hub located within said radially-outer peripheral casing and coaxial with a center axis of the casing; main struts located at circumferentially-spaced locations about the hub and extending radially-outwardly to the radially outer peripheral casing; and small struts located at circumferentially-spaced locations between the main struts; wherein the main struts and small struts have substantially parallel longitudinal chord lines and each of the small struts have a cross-sectional area smaller than a cross-sectional area of the main struts.

Embodiments of the present disclosure are directed toward systems including a turbomachine blade tip shroud having a pressure side portion and a suction side portion. The pressure side portion and the suction side portion are divided by a mean camber line of a turbomachine blade, and the pressure side portion has a greater surface area than the suction side portion.

Embodiments of the present disclosure include a turbomachine having a turbomachine blade and a stationary structural component. The turbomachine blade includes a tip shroud having a leading edge portion where the leading edge portion has a first surface. The stationary structural component is disposed about the turbomachine blade and includes a corresponding portion corresponding to the leading edge portion of the tip shroud, where the corresponding portion has a second surface, where the first surface and the second surface have generally parallel contours.

A diffuser assembly is provided herein. In certain embodiments, the diffuser assembly may include an outer boundary member and an inner boundary member, with the inner boundary member being positioned radially inward of the outer boundary member. The diffuser assembly also may include an exhaust flow path defined between the outer boundary member and the inner boundary member. Further, the diffuser assembly may include at least one flow deflecting member operatively attached to the outer boundary member. The flow deflecting member may be adjustable about the outer boundary member to produce a substantially uniform velocity distribution within the exhaust flow path.

A flow control assembly is provided, including a member and a wall. The member has a surface, a flow diverting member and a rail member. The rail member is situated upstream of the flow diverting member. The flow diverting member and the rail member each project from the surface of the member. The flow diverting member has a distal end. The wall is disposed in relation to the member to create a clearance gap between the distal end of the flow diverting member and the wall. A fluid path is created between the member and the wall, and flows from an upstream section and through the clearance gap. A first chamber and a second chamber are defined by the wall and located upstream of the clearance gap.
