Aspects of the invention are directed to a method and system for assigning the position of a touchpad device. A method for assigning a position of a touchpad according to an embodiment includes: selectively dividing, by a user, a touchpad into a first section and a second section, wherein the first section of the touchpad is distinct from the second section of the touchpad; and setting the first section of the touchpad as an active touchpad area; wherein a contact on the active touchpad area is recognized as a user input, and wherein a contact on the second section of the touchpad is not recognized as a user input.

Method and system for assigning the position of a touchpad device

Embodiments of the present invention address deficiencies of the art in respect to application migration and provide a novel and non-obvious method, system and computer program product for application migration through migratable units. In one embodiment, an application migration method can include decomposing an application migration into a plurality of migratable units (MUs). The MUs can be prioritized for migration to a target platform. Thereafter, each of the MUs can be migrated in an order defined by the prioritization. Finally, a stateful wizard can be provided which can reduce the complexity of the migration by providing a dashboard to the migration process.

The disclosure is directed to email addressee verification. A method in accordance with an embodiment includes: obtaining an email message including at least one email address; evaluating each email address of the email message against at least one email rule, and assigning a score to each email address based on the evaluation; and comparing the score assigned to each email address to a threshold, and flagging any suspect email address based on the comparison.

A system, method and program product for detecting and warning of problematic color combinations. A system is disclosed that includes a color warning system having: a scanning system for detecting proximately located objects appearing in an electronic view finder of the digital camera; a color identification system for quantifying a color of each of the proximately located objects; an analysis system for identifying a problematic color combination in the proximately located objects; and a warning system for outputting a warning prior to a picture capture operation upon a detection of the problematic color combination.
