Technologies directed to performing switchover across Internet service providers in a last-mile network are described. One method includes receiving, by a first wireless device, a destination address, a first network address of a first network addressing scheme, and a first message. The method further includes determining a first status of at least one of a first NSP or a second NSP. The first NSP uses a second network addressing scheme and the second NSP uses a third network addressing scheme. The method further includes determining a second network address of the third network addressing scheme. The method further includes sending, using the second NSP the second network address and the first message. The method further includes determining a third network address of a fourth network addressing scheme and sending to a fourth wireless device corresponding to the destination address the third network address and the first message.

A system, method and computer readable medium for generating and maintaining a resource deployment map for a project over a communications network includes a database for storing the resource deployment map including a set of tasks, dependencies between tasks, a predefined period of time required for completing each task, a set of resources, and assignments of the set of resources to the tasks, a web server for receiving project change information including a modified set of resources, and time delays in the tasks, identifying integration points in the resource deployment map, wherein an integration point comprises tasks, assigning the modified set of resources to the tasks as follows: assign all resources necessary for a first integration point, assign all remaining resources necessary for a next integration point, repeat the previous step until all resources are assigned, and generating a revised resource deployment map based on the modified set of resources, and time delays.

System for generating and maintaining a resource deployment map over a communications network

A secure communication channel is established between network devices separated by an unsecured physical space by dynamically performing server/client resolution based on comparison of unique identifiers of the devices. After a link between a first network device and a second network device is established, the devices exchange start frames in accordance with a network security protocol such as the Media Access Control Security (MACsec) protocol. Comparison logic at the first network device compares a value of a unique identifier of the first network device to a value of a unique identifier of the second network device obtained from the start frame transmitted by the second network device, and vice versa. Based on the comparison, one of the devices assumes a server/authenticator role, and the other device assumes a client/supplicant role. The devices operate in their determined roles to perform an authentication process and thereby establish a secure communication channel.

Server/client resolution for link level security protocol

Technology is described for using a first key to secure communications over a network link between a server and a client. A second key may be identified. A first message may indicate the server may receive data from the client using the second key but not to transmit data to the client using the second key, and that the first key is valid for sending and receiving data between the server and the client. A second message may indicate that the client may send and receive data with the server using the second key, and that the client may receive data from the server using the first key but not transmit data to the server using the first key. A third message may indicate that the server may send and receive data with the client using the second key, and that the first key is invalid for sending and receiving data between the server and the client.

Distribution of security keys

Technologies directed to network address translation based on logical channels in a shared private network with a single ingress to an ISP and multiple customer devices are described. One method receives a first public IP address assigned to an endpoint device by an ISP. The method creates a sub-interface on a WAN interface and adds a first rule that translates the first public IP address to a first private IP address assigned to the customer STA and a second rule that translates the first private IP address to the second public IP address. The first customer STA creates a second sub-interface between the customer STA and the endpoint device, adds a third rule that translates the first private IP address to a second private IP address assigned to the first endpoint device, and adds a fourth rule that translates the second private IP address to the first private IP address.

Network address translation based on logical channel implementation in a shared wireless network

Receiving short message service (SMS) messages and providing a response report based at least in part on the received SMS message is disclosed. A user equipment (UE) may receive an SMS message via a communications link between the UE and mobile a mobile communications network. The UE may be configured to determine if the SMS message was received with or without error. Based at least in part on this determination, the UE may generate the response report to provide to the mobile communications network. The UE may further identify that the communications link between itself and the mobile communications network may be severed. As a result, the UE may reestablish the communications link with the mobile communications network and then transmit the response report.

Message delivery acknowledgment

Entity mappings that produce matching entities for a first data asset having attributes and a second data asset having attributes are generated by: generating entity mappings that produce matching entities for a first data asset having attributes with attribute values and a second data asset having attributes with attribute values by: matching the attribute values of the attributes of the first data asset with the attribute values of the attributes of the second data asset, using the matching attribute values to generate matching attribute pairs, and using the matching attribute pairs to identify entity mappings; computing an entity mapping score for each of the entity mappings based on a combination of factors; ranking the entity mappings based on each entity mapping score; and using some of the ranked entity mappings to determine whether a same real-world entity is described by the first data asset and the second data asset.

Identifying entity mappings across data assets

Sending short message service (SMS) messages and receiving a response report based at least in part on the sent SMS message, even if a communicative connection with the mobile communications network had been severed, so that duplication of the SMS message is avoided is disclosed. In this case, a communicative connection may be re-established and used to receive an acknowledgment from the mobile communications network and subsequently send another acknowledgement to the mobile communications network. The UE may also be configured to send an information element to the one or more elements of the mobile communications network to indicate that a communicative connection with the network is to remain established so that acknowledgements may be reconciled between the UE and the network. Additionally, the mobile communications network may be configured to transmit the SMS message only after receiving the acknowledgement from the UE, to avoid sending duplicate SMS messages.

SMS delivery to prevent duplicate SMS messages on LTE

Systems and methods for routing pages to cellular phones (UE) not connected to a cellular network, but connected to a wireless local area network (I-WLAN), are disclosed. The system can route cellular pages to disconnected cellular devices using 3GPP AAA components, such as a Third Generation Partnership Project authentication, authorization, and accounting (3GPP AAA) server. The system can route pages via a home location register (HLR) connected to the I-WLAN or a mobile switching center (MSC) connected to the I-WLAN. The system can determine an appropriate MSC based on proximity of the MSC to the last known location of the UE, for example, or based on the MSC with the lowest utilization rates. The system can send a page to the UE via the I-WLAN instructing the UE to reconnect to the cellular network. The system can then send cellular data to the UE using the cellular network.

An embodiment provides intermediate data derived in the form of column stores which are in turn based on hierarchical data stores. This intermediate data represents a reduced subset of data matched appropriately to a query (or modified query) such that the amount of data handled in a query processing task on large data is greatly reduced. An embodiment may appropriately choose column data stores and/or modify queries in order leverage parallelization techniques such as map-reduce in order to query large data. The result is the ability to query large data stores in parallel while reducing the amount of data that must be handled.

Non-duplication of message delivery in a short message service

Approaches enable a device, such as a cellular-enabled device, to receive cellular system information from another device in response to a request by the cellular-enabled device, and then to select a cellular network connection to which the cellular-enabled device can connect based on the cellular system information. The cellular-enabled device may determine the availability of the cellular system information in a number of ways, such as by detecting a Bluetooth broadcast from another device and initiating a paired connection between the two devices. Once the paired connection is established, the cellular-enabled device may make a service discovery request to learn that the other device is capable of broadcasting the cellular system information over the connection between the devices. The cellular system information may be used by the cellular-enabled device to select one cellular network connection, from a set of available cellular network connections compatible with the cellular-enabled device, to connect to.
