A single-channel Long Range (LoRa) receiver device. The device may comprise a communication component comprising a receiver spreading factor (SF), configured to accept LoRa signals. LoRa signals each comprise a transmitter SF. The communication component is only able to receive a LoRa signal if the receiver SF matches the transmitter SF. The device may change its receiver SF and detect LoRa signals. The device may then analyze a LoRa signal if the transmitter SF matches the receiver SF. The device may then synchronize the communication component to the LoRa signal, process the LoRa signal, and repeat changing, detecting, analyzing, and synchronizing until all LoRa signals in range are processed.

Adaptive spreading factor matching for single channel LoRa receivers

A water management system effective for managing and metering water usage and detecting and reducing water leaks is described herein. The water management system can detect a leak when a volume of water flow or change in water pressure detected by a water meter of the system is uncharacteristic for a given day and time of day at the node. Upon detecting the leak, the system alerts the user, and in some situations, remotely shuts off a water supply to preemptively address a water leakage issue.

The present invention features a smart remote controller system which can also receive phone calls from any mobile device via Bluetooth. The system comprises a remote controller, at least a smartphone, and an optional docking station. This remote controller has speakers and can stream music from the mobile device via Bluetooth while the device is charging on the docking station. The smart remote controller is banana shaped remote which fits comfortable in a user's palm. The top curved area is to control TV, DVR and other devices needing remote controller. The inner face is designed to be a comfortable ear to mouth piece to make/answer calls via the mobile device. One side is a Wi-Fi speaker system playing back music from any mobile device. The handset can be conveniently charged on the docking station when not in use.
