There is provided a method of monitoring operational characteristics of an industrial gas plant complex comprising a plurality of industrial gas plants. The method being executed by at least one hardware processor and comprising: assigning a machine learning model to each of the industrial gas plants forming the industrial gas plant complex; training the respective machine learning model for each industrial gas plant based on received historical time-dependent operational characteristic data for the respective industrial gas plant; executing the trained machine learning model for each industrial gas plant to predict operational characteristics for each respective industrial gas plant for a pre-determined future time period; and comparing predicted operational characteristic data for each respective industrial gas plant for a pre-determined future time period with measured operational characteristic data for the corresponding time period to identify deviations in industrial gas plant performance.

Method and apparatus for monitoring operational characteristics of an industrial gas plant complex

A storage system is provided that includes a primary container, a first insulation layer, a secondary container, a secondary bottom, and a second insulation layer. The primary container has a primary bottom. The first insulation layer is disposed below the primary bottom. The secondary bottom is disposed below the first insulation layer and the secondary container. The secondary bottom has an expansion joint configured to permit the secondary bottom to expand and/or contract independently from the secondary container. The second insulation layer is disposed below the secondary bottom. In the event of LNG leaking from the primary container, the second insulation layer is protected from LNG contact by the secondary bottom. The carbon steel liner located on the outside face of the concrete wall remains vapor tight and liquid tight in the event of any amount of LNG leaking from the primary container.

A cryogenic liquid storage system is provided that includes a primary container, an insulation portion, a secondary container, and a pressure release feature. The primary container includes a metal sidewall and a metal dome. Alternatively, the primary container may be constructed out of composite material. The primary container may be configured to retain liquid hydrogen. The insulation portion covers the primary container. The secondary container includes a composite material that covers each of the primary container and the insulation portion. The pressure release feature is disposed through each of the primary container dome, the insulation portion, and the secondary container dome.

A precast, prestressed concrete tank and method that facilitates construction of a primary inner tank within a secondary outer tank, and which permits for the construction of the primary inner tank after the secondary outer tank has been erected, but without requiring insertion through a top of the secondary outer tank, or by tunneling underneath the secondary outer tank, is disclosed. The user interface may present various data and interfaces, such as a representation of a composite variable in a multivariate model, a representation of the contribution of process variables to the composite variable, and a representation of a subset of the process variables. The user may select a point of the composite variable for analysis, and the interface may indicate the contribution and values of process variables at the selected point. The interface may be transmitted to a remote user.

A process for adiabatically prereforming a feedstock, includes: providing an adiabatic reactor; providing a catalyst containing 1-20 wt. % nickel and 0.4-5 wt. % potassium, wherein the catalyst has an overall catalyst porosity of 25-50% with 20-80% of the overall catalyst porosity contributed by pores having pore diameters of at least 500 &#x212b;; providing the feedstock containing natural gas and steam, wherein the natural gas contains an initial concentration of higher hydrocarbons, and a ratio of steam to natural gas in the feedstock is from 1.5:1 to 5:1; preheating the feedstock to a temperature of 300-700&#xb0; C. to provide a heated feedstock; providing the heated feedstock to the reactor; and producing a product containing hydrogen, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, unreacted methane, and steam, wherein said product contains a reduced concentration of higher hydrocarbons less than the initial concentration of higher hydrocarbons, to prereform the feedstock.

The invention provides a clearcoat coating composition containing either one acrylic polymer with secondary hydroxyl functionality and carbamate functionality or two acrylic polymers, the first having secondary hydroxyl functionality and the second having carbamate functionality; a carbamate-functional or urea-functional material that is the reaction product of (1) a compound comprising a primary carbamate or primary urea group and an hydroxyl group and (2) a compound that is reactive with hydroxyl groups on a plurality of molecules of compound (1), but that is not reactive with the carbamate or urea groups on compound (1); and a crosslinking component including an aminoplast crosslinker.
