A method of controlling multiple antenna signal transmission is disclosed. The method includes adjusting signal parameters so that transmission signals from a plurality of antennas combine to form a directional beam. A time duration in which the transmission signals are directed is controlled so that an average EIRP does not exceed a predetermined threshold.

Average EIRP control of multiple antenna transmission signals

A network is provided that includes a plurality of antennas coupled over the network to a plurality of base stations. The network can be optical or constructed with RF microwave links. The base stations are configured to provide cellular transmission. A plurality of links couple the plurality of antennas and the plurality of base stations. At least one link of the plurality of links provides multiple transmission paths between at least a portion of the base stations with at least a portion of the antennas. In one implementation, at least one link of the plurality of links is shared by at least two cellular operators on different transmission paths. In another implementation, at least a portion of the plurality of base stations are in a common location and at least a portion of the antennas are geographically disbursed.

Method and apparatus for multiplexing in a wireless communication infrastructure

A network is provided that includes a plurality of antennas coupled over the network to a plurality of base stations. The network can be optical or constructed with RF microwave links. The base stations are configured to provide cellular transmission. A plurality of links couple the plurality of antennas and the plurality of base stations. At least one link of the plurality of links provides multiple transmission paths between at least a portion of the base stations with at least a portion of the antennas.

A network includes a plurality of antennas coupled to a plurality of base stations. The network can be optical or constructed with RF microwave links. The antennas and base stations are configured to transmit and receive digital signals representing cellular signals and the digital signals are exchanged over the network. A plurality of links couple the plurality of antennas and the plurality of base stations. At least one link of the plurality of links provides multiple transmission paths between at least a portion of the base stations and at least a portion of the antennas.

Multiple inversion recovery flow imaging employs at least four spin inversion pulses following saturation of static nuclei spins to null nuclei in static material having different spin-lattice relaxation times (T.sub.1) with the inversion pulses being spaced in time to substantially reduce the longitudinal magnetization of the T.sub.1 species present. The saturation of static nuclei spins includes applying a sequence of saturation pulses with adjacent pulses being separated by a diphasing gradient to avoid refocusing coherence. The detection of signals includes applying at least one RF read-out pulse near the nulling point.
