Technical solutions are described for visually depicting health of a cognitive system. An example computer-implemented method includes accessing a query-log of a question input to the cognitive system. The method also includes generating a query-node corresponding to the question. The method also includes configuring animation parameters of the query-node based on the query-log. The method also includes displaying the query-node according to the animation parameters.

Determining and representing health of cognitive systems

Certain relationships representing material insights are identified from among a set of discovered relationships. Cognitive discovery of relationships in a knowledge base, or corpus, are ranked according to one or more metrics indicative of material insights, including recentness and degree of alignment.

Significance of relationships discovered in a corpus

Technical solutions are described for representing health of a cognitive system. An example computer-implemented method includes displaying an animated set of icons, each icon representing a question input to the cognitive system. Each icon has a respective movement pattern. The computer-implemented method also includes receiving a selection of a first icon from the animated set of icons. The computer-implemented method also includes in response, identifying a category of a first question corresponding to the first icon, determining a subset of the icons corresponding to question from the category, and displaying connectors between the subset of the icons.

Electronic data interchange (EDI) documents are validated by creating an inventory of all rules, dynamically adjusting the inventory based upon entity specific rules derived from a plurality of companion guides, determining a profile containing pointers to select rules in the inventory for each companion guide and storing the profile for each companion guide in a storage. A runtime checker can then be used to check a received EDI document with a corresponding rule set, forward the EDI document if the EDI document matches its current rule set and return the EDI document if the EDI document does not match its current rule set. EDI rules may be enforced, for example, by determining entity-specific rules from corresponding companion guides, by expressing each rule in a neutral and machine readable format, by classifying the rules and/or by creating an inventory of rules and pointers to entity-specific rules.

Cascading definition and support of EDI rules

A method, apparatus, and computer-readable storage media for managing orphan tokens in a business process system. The method may include a first business process system template being compared by computer to a second business process system template. The method may include predicting by computer at least one predicted orphan token that would be orphaned if the business process system is migrated to the second business process system template from the first business process system template. The method may include further generating by computer an orphan token policy file to manage orphan tokens, and modifying a migration file using the orphan token policy file.

The method also includes searching a database of profiles for content that matches at least a portion of the data, sending the data to a converter system having one of the profiles that is associated with the content responsive to the searching, and receiving, from the converter system, a mapping of the first code to the second code. The method further includes updating a database of codes with results of the mapping.
