An air conditioner may include a casing having an inner air flow space defined therein and an entrance defined in one of a first side plate or a second side plate, a heat exchanger and a fan disposed between an outdoor air inlet body and an air outlet body in an air flow direction of the casing, a heater module inserted through the entrance into the inner air flow space, a handle mounted on one side face among both side faces of the heater module, one side face of the both side faces being closer to the entrance than the other side face thereof, a pair of guide brackets installed in the casing to slidably guide the heater module, and a door module that opens and closes the entrance. The door module may be configured to contact the handle to press the handle in a direction away from the entrance.

Air conditioner

An air handler having a fan module and a separation partition is provided, in which a case panel may be assembled with a plurality of module frames via a considerably simplified sliding coupling providing excellent hermetic sealing. As such, manufacturing costs may be reduced due to reduction in a number of components, and assembly time may be remarkably reduced due to a reduced number of assembly operations. This advantageously results in reduced labor cost and enhanced air conditioning efficiency.

Air handler having fan module and separation partition

A centrifugal fan includes a main plate rotating about an axis of rotation, a shroud having an inlet port for introduction of air, and a plurality of blades circumferentially arranged between the main plate and the shroud so as to form a flow of air by accelerating air introduced through the inlet port. Each blade has a pressure surface formed such that a portion thereof near to the shroud is convex and a portion thereof near to the main plate is concave. The shroud has an inside surface formed as a curved surface, and the curved surface has a diffusion section extending radially. The main plate has a curved surface extending radially, and a curved surface of the shroud in the diffusion section at least partially overlaps with the curved surface formed in the main plate when viewed in a direction of the axis of rotation.

Centrifugal fan

An air handler which allows modular assembly at a place of manufacture or outside of a building and modular transportation to a machine room of the building where the air handler will be installed, thereby achieving enhanced transportation convenience. In addition, in the air handler, a plurality of case panels may be assembled with a plurality of module frames via considerably simplified sliding coupling, providing excellent hermetic sealing. Air handler

An air handler and a fan module for an air handier are provided. The fan module may include a plurality of box frames that form a framework of at least one fan box; a plurality of safety nets coupled to the framework of the at least one fan box formed by the plurality of box frames to form surfaces of the at least one fan box; and at least one box frame connector that interconnects neighboring one of the plurality of box frames to form the framework of the at least one fan box, wherein the at least one box frame connector has a fan box connection end configured to assist connection of the neighboring one of the plurality of fan boxes. As such, manufacturing costs may be reduced due to reduction in a number of components, and assembly time may be remarkably reduced due to a reduced number of assembly operations. This advantageously results in reduced labor cost and enhanced air conditioning efficiency.

Air handler and method for assembling an air handler

A centrifugal fan and an air conditioner using the same are provided. A gurney flap having a rectangular plate or a S-shaped, twisted gurney flap may be formed in a tip of a blade provided in or on a hub of the centrifugal fan, so that noise may be effectively reduced, and efficiency increased. Further, the blade with the gurney flap may be easily formed integrally with the hub, enhancing productivity.
