An outdoor device for an air conditioner is provided. The outdoor device may include a case including a front panel that defines a front surface thereof and including a service panel, side panels that defines both sides thereof, and a rear panel that defines a rear surface thereof, an outdoor heat exchanger provided inside of the case, the outdoor heat exchanger having four heat exchange surfaces at positions corresponding to suction holes respectively defined in the front panel, the side panels, and the rear panel, a control box provided at a rear side of the service panel, the control box including an electronic case to accommodate an electronic component, and a mover provided at one side of the case to guide movement of the control box. The control box may be movable in a direction in which a space defined between the electronic case and the heat exchanger is increased in volume by the mover.

Outdoor device for an air conditioner

An outdoor device of an air conditioner is provided and may include a top cover that forms an upper surface of the outdoor device and provided with at least one discharge port through which air may be discharged, at least one fan provided under the top cover, and at least one shroud that accommodates the fan and that connects with the discharge port. A transverse width of the at least one shroud that passes through side surfaces of the at least one shroud and the at least one fan may be constant from an inlet port of the shroud to an outlet part. A cross sectional area of the outlet port may gradually increase toward the at least one discharge port.

Outdoor device of an air conditioner

An outdoor device for an air conditioner is provided that may include a compressor, a flow switch provided at an outlet-side of the compressor to switch a flow direction of a refrigerant according to a cooling operation or a heating operation, and an outdoor heat exchanger connected to the flow switch. The outdoor heat exchanger may include first to third heat exchangers, each of which may include a refrigerant tube through which the refrigerant may flow, the first to third heat exchangers being connected to each other in parallel during a heating operation and in series during a cooling operation, a first branch that branches the refrigerant into a first distribution tube, which may be directed to the first and second heat exchangers, and a second distribution tube which may be directed to the third heat exchanger, a second branch that branches the refrigerant branched from the first branch into a first branch tube, which may be directed to the first heat exchanger and a second branch tube, which may be directed to the second heat exchanger, and a first valve provided in the first distribution tube.

An outdoor unit of an air conditioner according to one embodiment of the present invention includes a case; and a control box installed in the case, wherein a stepped portion protrudes from an upper surface of the control box, and a plurality of air outlet ports are formed at the stepped portion.

An outdoor device for an air conditioner is provided that may include a compressor that compresses a refrigerant, a condenser that condenses the refrigerant compressed in the compressor, an expansion device that decompresses the refrigerant condensed in the condenser, an evaporator that evaporates the refrigerant decompressed in the expansion device, and a refrigerant storage that bypasses at least a portion of the refrigerant condensed in the condenser to store the bypassed refrigerant therein. The refrigerant storage may include a first storage that stores the bypassed refrigerant, and a second storage in which the refrigerant passing through the evaporator is introduced. The second storage may discharge a gaseous refrigerant of the introduced refrigerant to the compressor. The first storage may be provided above the second storage to supply the refrigerant stored therein into the second storage.
