A clothing treatment apparatus includes a tub for providing a space in which washing water is accommodated; a drum rotatably provided inside the tub; a motor for rotating the drum; and an induction heater which is arranged on the outer surface of the tub and which heats the drum. The motor can rotate the drum at a first rotational speed at which laundry accommodated inside the drum is rotated while adhered to the inner circumferential surface of the drum, during heating of the drum by the induction heater.

Clothing treatment apparatus

A clothing treatment includes: a cabinet; a door coupled to the cabinet; a tub; a drum provided inside the tub; a driving unit for rotating the drum; a gasket that connects an entrance of the cabinet to an opening of the tub; and a water supply unit for supplying water to the tub. The water supply unit is configured to supply water to the tub to a first water level higher than the lowest part of an inner side surface of the gasket. The driving unit is configured to rotate the drum at a first rotating speed at which a centrifugal force applied to laundry inside the drum is greater than the gravity applied to the laundry at the first water level.

Laundry treatment apparatus and method of controlling the same

Provided is a washing apparatus equipped with an induction heater to heat a drum and a method of controlling the washing apparatus. The method includes a water supply step of supplying washing water to the tub via a water valve, a soaking step of soaking laundry by driving the drum while circulating washing water with the circulation pump after the water supply step ends, a heating step of heating the drum by driving the induction module after the soaking step ends, and a main washing step of washing the laundry by driving the drum after the heating step ends, wherein in the heating step, a water level is below a lower end of the drum, and the drum, the circulation pump, and the induction module are driven to operate, thereby heating the drum, the washing water, and the laundry.

Washing apparatus and method for controlling same

Disclosed is a clothes treatment apparatus. The clothes treatment apparatus of the present disclosure may comprise: a cabinet; a drum rotatably provided in the cabinet; an induction heater which is disposed outside the drum and heats the drum; a magnet which is fixed to the drum and of which a residual magnetic flux density changes depending on temperature; and a coil fixed to the outside of the drum and disposed at a position overlapping the magnet in the longitudinal direction of the central axis of rotation of the drum.

A clothing treatment apparatus includes a cabinet having an inlet; a door provided in the cabinet to open and close the inlet; a drum rotatably disposed inside the cabinet, and having an elongated cylindrical shape; a tubular extension part extending from the inlet of the cabinet toward the drum; a first duct provided outside the drum; an induction heater which includes a coil, is provided inside the first duct, and heats the drum; a first fan supplying outside air to the inside of the first duct; and a second duct having an inlet connected to the first duct, extending from the first duct along a radially inward direction of the drum, and having an outlet connected to an outer circumferential surface of the extension part. The outlet of the second duct may have a smaller area than the area of the inlet.

The present invention relates to a laundry care apparatus in which an induction module heats the drum uniformly using a magnetic field to dry laundry or heat wash-water, and center and front and rear regions of the drum are uniformly heated.

Disclosed is a laundry treatment apparatus configured to condense moisture by supplying cooling water to the interior of a tub containing laundry therein. The laundry treatment apparatus includes a tub, a drum rotatably provided in the tub, a cooling water port provided at the inner rear surface of the tub so as to be adjacent to the inner side surface of the tub in order to supply cooling water along the inner side surface of the tub, and a guide rib formed so as to protrude from the inner side surface of the tub in a radially inward direction of the tub and to extend from the cooling water port toward the front side of the tub in order to disperse the cooling water supplied from the cooling water port on the inner surface of the tub. Disclosed herein is a laundry machine. More particularly, a laundry machine for generating steam by an induction heater and a control method thereof are disclosed. According to an embodiment of the present disclosure, provided is a method of controlling a laundry machine including a tub, a drum rotatably arranged in the tub to accommodate an object and provided with a through hole on an outer circumferential surface thereof, and an induction heater provided to the tub, and configured to perform a steam operation. The steam operation may include heating a heating surface of the drum facing the induction heater by driving the induction heater, spraying, through a spray nozzle, water toward the heating surface heated in the heating operation, and rotating the drum such that the steam is introduced into the drum through the through hole in a space between the tub and the drum.

Laundry machine having induction heater and control method thereof

Disclosed herein are a laundry apparatus and a control method thereof. According to an embodiment, the method of controlling a laundry apparatus including a tub, a drum, an induction heating module mounted on the tub to heat the drum, and a circulation pump configured to pump wash water from the tub to the drum includes supplying wash water into the tub through a water supply valve, circulating the wash water by operating the circulation pump and performing fabrics soaking by driving the drum after termination of the water supply, performing heating by driving the induction heating module after termination of the fabrics soaking, and performing washing by driving the drum after termination of the heating, wherein the heating is performed while a water level of the wash water is lower than a lowest end of the drum, the heating including heating the drum, the wash water, and fabrics.

Laundry apparatus and control method thereof

Disclosed is a laundry treatment apparatus including a drum formed of a metal material and provided to accommodate laundry therein, an induction module spaced apart from a circumferential surface of the drum and provided to heat the circumferential surface of the drum via a magnetic field that is generated when current is applied to a coil, and a lifter formed of a metal material and provided in the drum to move the laundry inside the drum when the drum rotates. The lifter is provided so as to be recessed in a direction in which a distance between the induction module and the lifter, which face each other, increases.

A laundry treatment apparatus is disclosed. The laundry treatment apparatus includes a cabinet, a tub arranged in the cabinet, a drum arranged in the tub and formed of a metal material, and an induction module configured to inductively heat the drum, wherein the induction module includes a coil formed by winding a wire, and a base housing including a base body arranged on the tub, and a fixing rib arranged on the base body to fix the coil, wherein the wire is drawn into the base body in one direction, wound around the fixing rib, and drawn out of the base body in the same direction.
