A driving unit and a linear compressor including the same are provided. The driving unit includes an inner stator, a bobbin surrounding the inner stator in a circumferential direction, a coil wound on the bobbin, a plurality of stator cores surrounding the bobbin and spaced apart from each other in the circumferential direction, and a plurality of permanent magnets disposed between the inner stator and the plurality of stator cores. A cross section of the bobbin may include a pair of straight portions facing each other and a curved portion connecting the pair of straight portions.

The oil feeder includes an oil cylinder defining an oil supply hole configured to extend in a first direction, an accommodation groove formed concavely at a side, and a communication hole configured to communicate the oil supply hole with the accommodation groove, an oil piston accommodated in the accommodation groove and configured to reciprocate in a second direction perpendicular to the first direction, a first ball accommodated in the oil supply hole and disposed below the communication hole, a second ball accommodated in the oil supply hole and disposed on the communication hole, and an elastic member comprising an outer portion coupled to the accommodation groove and an inner portion coupled to the oil piston.

A linear compressor includes one spring assembly including a plurality of spring parts fixed to both side surfaces of a supporter and a rear cover and configured to support a load generated in the compressor. In addition, both side portions of the spring part are provided with fixing brackets coupled to the supporter and the rear cover, and the fixing bracket is provided with an insertion member or a bracket coupling member so that the coupling force of the spring part can be increased.

The transverse flux reciprocating motor includes an outer stator including a stator core, a teeth portion extended from the stator core to an inside, and a teeth shoe extended from an inner end of the teeth portion in a circumferential direction; a coil disposed on the teeth portion; an inner stator disposed in the outer stator and configured to reciprocate in an axial direction due to an electromagnetic interaction with the coil; and a magnet disposed on the teeth shoe and facing the inner stator. The stator core includes a plurality of core plates stacked in the axial direction. The magnet includes first and second magnets that are spaced from each other in the axial direction.

Transverse flux reciprocating motor and linear compressor including the same

A linear compressor includes a cylinder, a piston disposed in the cylinder and reciprocating along an axis of the cylinder, a stator core disposed outside the cylinder, a coil winding body that is disposed in the stator core and includes first to fourth coils that are spaced from each other in a circumferential direction, a mover connected to the piston and reciprocating along the axis by an electromagnetic interaction with the coil winding body, and a switch unit configured to connect the first and second coils and the third and fourth coils in series or in parallel depending on a magnitude of a load. The first and second coils are connected in series, and the third and fourth coils are connected in series. The first to fourth coils each have the same inductance.

A linear compressor includes a frame; an outer stator including a stator core disposed on the frame, a teeth portion extending inward from the stator core, and a teeth shoe extending in a circumferential direction from an inner end of the teeth portion; a coil disposed on the teeth portion; a cylinder disposed on the frame; a piston disposed in the cylinder; an inner stator coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the piston, and reciprocating in an axial direction by electromagnetic interaction with the coil; a magnet disposed on the teeth shoe and facing the inner stator; and a virtual pole disposed on the teeth shoe, disposed in front or behind in an axial direction of the magnet, and facing the inner stator. The outer stator includes a plurality of core plates stacked in the axial direction.

There is provided a linear motor and a linear compressor including the same. The linear motor includes a stator including an air gap, a coil provided in the stator, a mover for reciprocating in the air gap, and at least one magnet fixed to the stator. In the magnet, a length in a first direction that intersects a reciprocating direction of the mover is larger than a length in a second direction that is the reciprocating direction of the mover. Therefore, it is possible to maintain or improve motor efficiency by using an amount of use of a magnet while using a low-priced magnet.

Linear motor and linear compressor having the same

A linear compressor includes a casing, a cylinder forming a compression chamber inside the casing, a piston reciprocating to compress a fluid of the compression chamber, a mover having a movable magnet and reciprocating on the basis of a predetermined reference position to drive the piston, and a stator generating a thrust pushing the mover in the reciprocating direction and a restoring force pushing the mover in a direction toward the reference position according to an interaction with the movable magnet, wherein the stator includes a mover air gap formed to accommodate the mover and a magnetoresistive air gap formed in a position spaced apart from the mover air gap to change magnetic resistance of a magnetic circuit formed along the stator. According to this, a magnetic resonance spring with increased restoring force may be implemented.

A linear compressor is provided. The linear compressor may include a cylinder that defines a compression space for a refrigerant; a piston that axially reciprocates inside the cylinder; a motor configured to provide a drive force to the piston; a discharge valve configured to discharge the refrigerant compressed in the compression space; and a discharge cover having a discharge space in which the refrigerant discharged through the discharge valve flows. The discharge valve and the discharge cover may be arranged inside the motor.

A reciprocating motor and a reciprocating compressor having a reciprocating motor are provided. The reciprocating motor may include a stator having a magnet coil, provided with an air gap respectively formed at both sides in an axial direction by interposing the magnet coil therebetween; a mover inserted into the stator, reciprocating with respect to the stator as at least one magnet is arranged at any one of the air gaps formed at both sides and a non-magnet is arranged at the other one of the air gaps; and a magnetic resonance spring that resonates the mover with respect to the stator using a force for moving toward low magnetic resistance between the mover and the stator. The reciprocating motor and the reciprocating compressor having a reciprocating motor may be downsized and lightweight, and may obtain high efficiency.

Reciprocating motor and reciprocating compressor having a reciprocating motor

A moving core type reciprocating motor is provided that may include a stator on which a coil may be wound and having an air gap; a magnet fixed to the stator; and a mover that includes a moving core disposed to face the magnet in the air gap and reciprocates with respect to the stator. The magnet may have a first pole and a second pole that are different poles arranged in a reciprocation direction of the mover, and a length of the first pole may be larger than a length of the second pole.

Moving core type reciprocating motor and compressor

A movable core-type reciprocating motor and a reciprocating compressor having a movable core-type reciprocating motor are provided. The motor may include a stator including an inner stator and an outer stator; a magnet coil wound between the inner stator and the outer stator; a magnet fixed to at least one of the inner stator or the outer stator so as to be at least partially positioned within a range of the air gap; and a mover including a movable core disposed in the air gap and made of a magnetic material to perform a reciprocation movement with respect to the stator.

Moveable core-type reciprocating motor and reciprocating compressor having a moveable core-type reciprocating motor

A transverse flux reciprocating motor and a reciprocating compressor having a transverse flux reciprocating motor are provided. The transverse flux reciprocating motor may include a stator wound with a magnet coil, a mover inserted into the stator and coupled with a magnet having opposite magnetic poles in an orthogonal direction with respect to a magnetic flux generated by the magnet coil, and a magnetic resonance spring that allows the mover to perform a resonance motion with respect to the stator using a force trying to move toward a side with low magnetic resistance between the stator and the mover, whereby the transverse flux reciprocating motor and the reciprocating compressor having a transverse flux reciprocating motor may be reduced in size and weight and obtain high efficiency.
