A curved display apparatus includes a curved display panel, a driver, a controller and a plurality of flexible substrates. The curved display panel extends in a tangential direction with respect to a first axis direction. The driver applies a driving signal to the curved display panel. The controller includes a curved printed circuit board extending in the tangential direction with respect to a first axis direction. The controller applies a control signal to the driver. The flexible substrates electrically connect the curved printed circuit board with the curved display panel. Each of the flexible substrates includes a first connection portion connected to the curved display panel, a second connection portion connected to the curved printed circuit board and a flexible substrate body connecting the first connection portion with the second connection portion. The flexible substrate body extends in a radial direction with respect to the first axis direction.

Provided is a data driving circuit of a display device, the data driving circuit including a first receiving circuit which receives an external first image control signal at the start of power being supplied, a second receiving circuit which receives a second image control signal in response to an activated data packet detection signal, and a data packet detection circuit which activates the data packet detection signal when a line start field included in the first image control signal is detected.

The driver chip includes a driving IC, signal bumps, an input bump, and an output bump electrically connected to the input bump. The display panel further includes a printed circuit board including a timing controller, a flexible printed circuit board electrically connecting the display panel and the printed circuit board, signal lines each having one end electrically connected to one of the signal bumps and the other end electrically connected to the timing controller, an input line applying a test signal to the input bump, an output line of which one end thereof is electrically connected to the output bump, and a test resistor connected to the output line.
