Disclosed is a display device including a display panel, an input sensor that is disposed on the display panel and that includes sensing electrodes, a master readout circuit that is electrically connected with a first portion of the sensing electrodes and that generates first reception signals corresponding to a signal received from the first portion of the sensing electrodes, and a slave readout circuit that is electrically connected with the a second portion of the sensing electrodes and that generates second reception signals corresponding to a signal received from the second portion of the sensing electrodes. The master readout circuit provides a synchronization signal to the slave readout circuit, and the slave readout circuit operates in response to the synchronization signal and provides a sensing signal corresponding to the second reception signals to the master readout circuit.

Display device capable of sensing a user input accurately and operating method thereof

Provided is an electronic device. The electronic device includes a display layer, a sensor layer disposed on the display layer and including a plurality of sensing electrodes, a sensor driving part, a first virtual sensor part including a plurality of virtual electrodes, a first RC circuit electrically connected between the sensor driving part and the first virtual sensor part, and a flexible circuit board which is connected to the display layer and on which the sensor driving part and the first RC circuit are disposed. The sensor driving part may be configured to receive a touch signal from the plurality of sensing electrodes and receive a first noise signal from the plurality of virtual electrodes, the first RC circuit may be configured to control a magnitude of the first noise signal, and the sensor driving part may be configured to subtract the touch signal and the first noise signal.

The present application relates to a display device and an electronic device including the same. The display device includes a display panel including a display region and a non-display region, and an input sensor disposed on the display panel. The display panel includes a base layer including resin layers, pixels disposed on the base layer and overlapping the display region, a charging electrode disposed under at least one resin layer and overlapping the display region, and a first shielding pattern disposed on the base layer and overlapping the display region, the first shielding pattern having a first thickness and having at least one slit dividing the first shielding pattern into sections. The first thickness corresponds to a thickness satisfying a relation of the following equation: where T1 represents the first thickness, A is π, B is permeability of the first shielding pattern, C is frequency of electric current flowing through the first shielding pattern, and D is resistivity of the first shielding pattern.

Display device and electronic device including the same

A display device includes a display panel and an input sensor. The input sensor may include a first detection pattern, and a first detection electrode including a bridge pattern electrically connected to the first detection pattern. The bridge pattern may include a (1-1)-th conductive layer, and a (1-2)-th conductive layer, and the first detection pattern may include a (2-1)-th conductive layer, and a (2-2)-th conductive layer. A first opening portion that exposes the one surface of the (1-1)-th conductive layer may be defined in the (1-2)-th conductive layer, and a second opening portion that exposes the one surface of the (2-1)-th conductive layer may be defined in the (2-2)-th conductive layer. The one surface of the (1-1)-th conductive layer and the one surface of the (2-1)-th conductive layer may be in contact with each other.

An electronic device includes a host processor to output a first signal having a first frequency and a second signal having a second frequency higher than the first frequency and containing frame data, a driving controller configured to receive the frame data from the host processor and to generate image data, a display layer to display an image based on the image data, a sensor layer disposed on the display layer and including a plurality of sensing electrodes, and a sensor driver to provide a transmit signal having a third frequency to the plurality of sensing electrodes. The host processor determines the first frequency based on the third frequency.

An input sensing part includes a first sensing electrode. A second sensing electrode is electrically insulated from the first sensing electrode and crosses the first sensing electrode. A first-pen sensing electrode is adjacent to the first sensing electrode, is electrically insulated from the second sensing electrode, and crosses the second sensing electrode. The electronic device includes a display panel and an input sensing part disposed on the display panel and including a first area, a second area configured to surround the first area, and a third area configured to surround the second area.
