Provided is a refrigerator. The refrigerator includes a cabinet in which a storage space is defined and a door which is configured to open and close the storage space and into which an insulating material is filled. The door includes an outer plate which is configured to define a front surface of the door and in which an opening is defined, a panel assembly configured to shield the opening so that the inside of the door is seen therethrough, a supporter frame mounted on a rear surface of the outer plate and configured to support a circumference of the opening and a circumference of the panel assembly, and a display device which is mounted on the supporter frame in which a plurality of LEDs are continuously disposed on a substrate. A transmission portion through which light irradiated from the display is transmitted is provided in the display device.

Refrigerator

A home appliance includes a refrigerator. The home appliance includes a cabinet configured to define a storage space with a front surface opened, a door configured to open and close the storage space, and a speaker disposed on a top surface of the cabinet and configured to communicate with an external device, where the speaker includes a sound output portion configured to output sound. The sound output portion is inclined with respect to the top surface of the cabinet.

A refrigerator includes a cabinet and a door. The door includes a door body filled with an insulator and a door panel detachably mounted on the door body. The door panel includes a panel defining a front appearance of the door, and a panel bracket disposed on a rear surface of the panel and including a mounting protrusion protruding rearward. The door body includes a cap deco that defines a portion of a perimeter surface of the door body and includes a protrusion accommodating part receiving the mounting protrusion, and a deco cover that shields an opening of the cap deco and includes a restraining protrusion protruding into the cap deco. The restraining protrusion is in contact with the protrusion accommodating part when the deco cover is mounted and maintains a restrained state of the mounting protrusion and the protrusion accommodating part.

The wherein the panel assembly includes a transparent front panel defining a front surface thereof, a display disposed on a rear surface of the front panel, a light guide plate disposed to be spaced apart from the display, a backlight configured to emit light toward an end of the light guide plate, and a rear panel made of a transparent material, spaced apart from the front panel to define a heat insulation space in which the display, the light guide plate, and the backlight are accommodated. The light may emit light to a rear region of the light guide plate from the outside of the light guide plate and be disposed at an angle between a direction parallel to the light guide plate and a rear side crossing the light guide plate.
