The wearable device includes a display module and at least one processor configured to control the display module to allow an execution screen of a first application to be shown as a virtual object according to a first type, detect a first user input for executing a second application, after detecting the first user input, determine whether a second user input for requesting to allow an execution screen of the second application to be included and shown in a same group as the execution screen of the first application is detected, and allow the execution screen of the second application to be shown independently from or while forming one group with the execution screen of the first application, based on a result of the determination.
