An organic light emitting display device includes a substrate including a plurality of pixel areas, each of the plurality of pixel areas including a light emitting region and a transmission region, a first electrode disposed on the light emitting region of the substrate, a second electrode opposing the first electrode, an organic light emitting layer which is disposed on the light emitting region of the substrate and disposed between the first electrode and the second electrode, and an auxiliary electrode which is disposed on the transmission region of the substrate and electrically connected to the second electrode.

An organic light emitting display device may include a substrate, an anode, an auxiliary electrode, a light emitting structure, a lower cathode, and an upper cathode. The substrate may include a pixel region, a transparent region, and a boundary region between the pixel region and the transparent region. The anode may be on the pixel region. The auxiliary electrode may be on the transparent or boundary regions. The light emitting structure may be on the anode and the auxiliary electrode and extended from the pixel region to the transparent region. The lower cathode may be on the light emitting structure and made thin to increase transmittance. The upper cathode may be on the lower cathode. The thin lower cathode may be electrically connected to the auxiliary electrode via a contact hole which penetrates the light emitting structure so as to reduce a voltage drop.

Organic light emitting display device and method of manufacturing an organic light emitting display device

A transparent organic light emitting display device having a pixel region on which an image is displayed and a transparent region through which external light passes. The transparent organic light emitting display device includes a first substrate, a second substrate opposing the first substrate, a display unit disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate, the display unit including an organic light emitting diode. A sealing unit is disposed between the first substrate and the second substrate to surround the display unit and to bond the first substrate to the second substrate. A filling unit is disposed in an inner side of the sealing unit to cover the display unit, the filling unit including a silicon filling material and a photochromic material.

Transparent organic light emitting display device

An organic light emitting display apparatus and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The organic light emitting display apparatus includes, for example, a bus electrode, an insulating layer covering the bus electrode and having a bus electrode hole exposing at least a part of the bus electrode, a pixel electrode formed on the insulating layer and electrically coupled with the bus electrode, a pixel defining layer exposing a part of the pixel electrode and a part of the bus electrode, a first intermediate layer on the pixel defining layer and the pixel electrode, the first intermediate layer having a first opening to expose the part of the bus electrode, an emission layer disposed on the first intermediate layer, and an opposite electrode to correspond to the pixel electrode and the bus electrode and contacting the bus electrode through the first opening and the bus electrode hole.

An organic light emitting display apparatus and a method of manufacturing the same are disclosed. The organic light emitting display apparatus includes, for example, a pixel electrode and a bus electrode spaced apart and electrically insulated from each other, a pixel defining layer exposing a part of the pixel electrode including a central part thereof and a part of the bus electrode, a first intermediate layer on a top surface of the pixel defining layer between the pixel electrode and the bus electrode, the first intermediate layer having a first opening in a part of the bus electrode to expose a part of the bus electrode, an emission layer disposed on the first intermediate layer, and an opposite electrode disposed on the emission layer to correspond to the pixel electrode and the bus electrode and contacting the bus electrode through the first opening of the first intermediate layer.

A display device includes a display panel having a display area and a bezel area formed around edges of the display area; a backlight unit disposed on a rear side of the display panel to provide light to the display panel; a supporting member to support the display panel and the backlight unit; and a top case having at least one joint and incorporated with a surface of the supporting member, wherein the top case has a main frame combined with the supporting member, and a sub frame having a design of at least one color and disposed on the bezel area.

An organic light emitting display apparatus including a plurality of sub-pixels disposed on a substrate, wherein each of the sub-pixels includes: a first electrode formed on the substrate; an intermediate layer formed on the first electrode and including an organic emission layer; and a second electrode formed on the intermediate layer, wherein at least one sub-pixel for emitting light of a color among the sub-pixels includes a shadow emission layer for emitting light of different color between the organic emission layer and the first electrode, and the organic emission layer of the one sub-pixel includes a hole transport material.

A top-emitting or bottom-emitting OLED has a wide color gamut and reduces a variation in color with a viewing angle. The OLED includes a reflective electrode and a transmissive or semi-transmissive electrode disposed opposite each other; at least two organic emission layers (EMLs) interposed between the reflective electrode and the transmissive or semi-transmissive electrode; and an optical path control layer disposed on an outer surface of the transmissive or semi-transmissive electrode. A resonator is formed between the reflective electrode and the optical path control layer so a resonance mode of light extracted from the optical path control layer is a multi-resonance mode having at least two modes in a visible light region. A distance between the organic EMLs satisfies the condition of constructive interference between light beams emitted by the respective organic EMLs. A color display apparatus using the OLED are taught.
