An embodiment independent corner module includes a knuckle fastened to a wheel, a steering frame fastened to the knuckle, the steering frame having an upper end configured to be fixed to a vehicle body and to rotate together with the knuckle to apply a steering angle to the wheel, a steering drive unit fastened to the steering frame, and a body guide rail fastened to the steering drive unit and configured to be disposed on the vehicle body, wherein, in response to reception of a driving force of the steering drive unit, the steering drive unit is configured to be rotated along the body guide rail and the steering frame is configured to be rotated simultaneously along with the rotation of the steering drive unit.

Independent corner module

An independent corner module includes an axle fastened to and positioned on a wheel, a steering frame fastened to the axle and rotated integrally with the axle to apply a steering angle to the wheel, a vehicle body guide rail positioned on a vehicle body and fastened to a rotation center axis of the steering frame, a steering driving portion positioned between the steering frame and the vehicle body guide rail to apply a driving force, and a leaf spring unit positioned between the axle and the steering frame, in which the steering driving portion is rotated along the vehicle body guide rail in response to the driving force of the steering driving portion, and at a same time, the steering frame is configured to be rated around the steering driving portion.

An independent steering system includes a knuckle fastened to inside of a wheel and driven integrally with the wheel, an upper arm fastened to an upper end portion of the knuckle, a lower arm fastened to a lower end portion of the knuckle, a steering motor positioned on the lower arm, and a steering gear portion having a first end portion connected to the steering motor and a second end portion engaged to the knuckle, wherein the steering gear portion rotates integrally with the knuckle by a rotation force of the steering motor.

Independent steering system

A rear wheel steering motor generates rotational force. A movement converter has a converting portion coupled to the wheel steering motor and configured to convert the rotational force transmitted from the rear wheel steering motor into a linear movement. An MR fluid is applied on the converting portion. An inverter controls driving of the rear wheel steering motor. A magnet switch works in concert with the inverter to change a magnetic field to selectively provide the magnetic field to the MR fluid of the movement converter.

Rear wheel steering system

A vehicle height control system includes an arm including a first end portion connected to a vehicle body and a second end portion coupled to a wheel, a bearing unit fixed to the vehicle body, a crank coupled to the bearing unit, a push rod including a first end portion connected to the crank and a second end portion connected to the arm, and a spring reaction force variable device coupled to the bearing unit and configured to vary reaction force applied to the crank.

Vehicle height control system

A vehicle-height control system of an independent corner module, includes a suspension link connected to a wheel and configured to be rotated according to upward-downward displace of the wheel, a gear unit connected to a vehicle body and a rotational center portion of the suspension link and configured to receive a rotation force from the suspension link, a control torsion bar, a first end portion thereof being connected to the gear unit and the second end portion thereof being connected to a torsion variation unit, the torsion variation unit applying a drive force to adjust a height of the control torsion bar and to maintain the adjusted height, and a controller connected to the torsion variation unit and adjusting the height of the control torsion bar.

Vehicle-height control system of independent corner module

A leaf spring suspension includes a knuckle having a wheel to be coupled thereto, a fixed frame positioned on a vehicle body and coupled to the knuckle through a trailing arm, a leaf spring having a first end portion coupled to the knuckle and having a second end portion having a variable support point, and a support unit configured to vary the support point on the second end portion of the leaf spring, wherein the support unit includes a spring support positioned to be brought into contact with the leaf spring, and a spring driver coupled to the spring support and configured to apply driving force to change the position of the spring support, and wherein the spring driver moves the position of the spring support to change the support point on the leaf spring.

Suspension having leaf spring

An embodiment independent corner module includes a knuckle unit positioned on an inner side surface of a wheel, a steering unit disposed to face a strut coupled to the knuckle unit, the steering unit having a center shaft configured to be fixed to a vehicle body and configured to rotate about the center shaft, a guide rail configured to define a movement path through which the steering unit rotates and moves, and a rack steering unit positioned in the steering unit, fastened to the knuckle unit, and configured to apply rotating force to the knuckle unit in response to a movement in a longitudinal direction.

A roll control system for a corner module of a vehicle includes a knuckle that is coupled to a strut, positioned inside a wheel, and movable in upward and downward directions, a stopper that selectively moves in a downward direction and limits a range that the knuckle moves in the upward and downward directions, a power transmission unit that transmits power for moving the stopper in the downward direction, a clutch connected to the power transmission unit for transmitting a rotational force to the power transmission as a control motor is driven, and a controller electrically connected to the control motor for transmitting a power transmission signal to the control motor to control the stopper to selectively move in the upward and downward directions.

Roll control system for corner module of vehicle

A suspension includes a knuckle to which a wheel of a vehicle is fastened, a steering drive portion connected to the knuckle, a lower arm positioned at a lower end portion of the steering drive portion and including a first end portion connected to the knuckle and a second end portion connected to a vehicle body frame, a connecting link including a first end portion connected to an upper end portion of the steering drive portion, an upper arm connected to a second end portion of the connecting link, a damper connecting the upper arm and the vehicle body frame, and a push rod including a first end portion connected to the upper arm and a second end portion connected to the lower arm.

The present disclosure discloses a preview vehicle height control system and a method of controlling the same. The system includes a monitoring device configured to detect the road surface condition of a driving path of a vehicle, an active suspension configured to adjust a vehicle height, a memory configured to store a plurality of data maps distinguished based on a type of bump, each data map having a vehicle dynamic characteristic as an input and a tuning factor as an output, and a controller configured to derive the tuning factor based on a data map, among the plurality of data maps of the memory, corresponding to the bump detected by the monitoring device, derive a target vehicle height in a form of a Gaussian distribution by substituting the tuning factor, and control the active suspension to follow the derived target vehicle height.

Preview vehicle height control system and method of controlling the same

A steering feel assisting apparatus of a steer-by-wire (SBW) system, may include a disk configured to rotate together with a steering shaft; a cam engaged to an actuator and configured to receive a rotational force of the actuator to be eccentrically rotated; and a brake arm configured to selectively friction-contact with an external peripheral surface of the disk to provide a predetermined frictional force in a forward rotation direction of the disk as the brake arm rotates in conjunction with rotation of the cam.

Steering feel assisting apparatus of steer-by-wire system

An embodiment independent corner module includes a knuckle unit positioned at an inward area of a wheel, an upper arm fastened between an upper end of the knuckle unit and a vehicle body, a lower arm fastened between a lower end of the knuckle unit and the vehicle body, a steering unit configured to input a steering angle to the knuckle unit by being rotated with respect to the lower arm, and a rack steering unit positioned under the steering unit and fastened to the knuckle unit, the rack steering unit being configured to apply a rotating force to the knuckle unit by varying a length thereof.

An anti-reverse clutch apparatus includes an input shaft provided with a push handle, an output shaft mounted coaxially with the input shaft and rotatable relative to the input shaft, a clutch housing including an internal gear formed along an internal circumferential surface of the clutch housing, and a locking block, which is mounted between the output shaft and the internal circumferential surface of the clutch housing, and rotatable together with the output shaft and which includes an external gear, which is formed along an external circumferential surface of the locking block to be engaged with the internal gear, the locking block being linearly moved in a radial direction of the output shaft by a sloped surface structure formed between the push handle and the locking block so that the external gear is engaged with or disengaged from the internal gear when the push handle is rotated.
