A display device includes a display panel to be folded, a panel support supporting a bottom surface of the display panel, and a jig under the panel support, and including a first flat plate frame, a second flat plate frame on one side of the first flat plate frame, and a wing plate fixed to the second flat plate frame to rotate with respect to a rotation axis, wherein a folding axis is on a boundary between the first flat plate frame and the wing plate, and wherein the panel support includes a first flat plate portion overlapping the first flat plate frame, a second flat plate portion overlapping the second flat plate frame, and a grid pattern portion on the wing plate, between the first and second flat plate portions, and extending to the boundary between the first flat plate frame and the wing plate.

Display device

An electronic device includes a display panel including non-folding areas and a folding area disposed between the non-folding areas, a lower protective film disposed below the display panel, an external light reflective member disposed below the lower protective film, a lower member disposed below the external light reflective member, and cushion members disposed below the lower member. The display panel is foldable along a folding axis. The cushion members are spaced apart from each other and define a cushion hole in the folding area.

Electronic device

An electronic device includes a display module and a support plate disposed below the display module and in which an opening pattern is formed that corresponds to a foldable area. The support plate includes a top surface adjacent to the display module and a bottom surface that faces the top surface, and the opening pattern includes an opening that passes through the support plate from the top surface to the bottom surface and a plurality of support parts around the opening. In addition, in a cross-section, the support parts include at least one first support part that includes a first curved edge at one side of the top surface and a second curved edge at one side of the bottom surface that faces the first curved edge in a diagonal direction.

Folding test device

A display device includes a flexible display module and a support member located below the flexible display module. The support member includes a first support member and a second support member. A portion of each of the first support member and the second support member, which is adjacent to a bending axis, is bent to have a curvature.

A display device including a display module, a supporting portion disposed below the display module, a plurality of protruding portions protruding from an edge of the supporting portion, and a case containing the display module, the supporting portion, and the protruding portions. The case includes a bottom portion disposed below the supporting portion and a sidewall portion spaced apart from an edge of the display module and extended along the edge of the display module. The protruding portions protrude outward relative to the edge of the display module and are adjacent to the sidewall portion.

A display device is provided that includes a case comprising a bottom portion and a sidewall to define a receiving space in which the display device is accommodated. The display device comprises a display module with a display panel for displaying an image, a folding area, and a plurality of non-folding areas, and a circuit board electrically connected to the display panel. The folding area is capable of being folded about a folding axis and the non-folding areas are disposed adjacent to both sides of the folding area. A receiving groove is defined in the bottom portion of the case corresponding to a part mounting area of the circuit board. The circuit board is disposed on a rear surface of the display module.
