An all solid state battery includes a cathode active material layer disposed in contact with a predetermined area of a cathode current collector, a solid electrolyte layer disposed on the cathode active material layer, and including a central part disposed on the cathode active material layer based on a stack direction of the all solid state battery, and a peripheral part extending from the central part and contacting the cathode current collector while surrounding side surfaces of the cathode active material layer, an anode layer disposed on the solid electrolyte layer and having an area greater than an area of the cathode active material layer but less than an area of the solid electrolyte layer, and a spacer disposed on the solid electrolyte layer and in contact with side surfaces of the anode layer.

All solid state battery with improved durability and method for manufacturing the same

A battery unit for a vehicle is provided. The battery unit includes a lower case having two battery compartments arranged in a direction toward opposite sides of the vehicle, respectively, and a connecting portion bent to be convex upwardly between the two battery compartments. A reinforcing structure is disposed on the connecting portion. Two battery modules are installed in the two battery compartments, respectively and a power wire is electrically connected to at least one of the two battery modules and extends from one of the two battery compartments to the other one of the two battery compartments through the connecting portion.

A battery unit for a vehicle is provided and includes a lower case having two battery compartments arranged in a direction toward opposite sides of the vehicle, respectively, and a connecting portion bent to be convex upwardly between the two battery compartments. A cooling block is disposed under each of the battery modules and receives and discharges coolant to cool the battery module. An upper case is installed on the lower case and has a coolant inlet port through which the coolant is supplied to the cooling block and a coolant outlet port through which the coolant is discharged from the cooling block.

A multi path cooling system is provided that includes a first cooling path in which a refrigerant is circulated by a first pump and a second cooling path in which the refrigerant is circulated by a second pump. A reservoir tank is provided through which the refrigerant circulating through the first cooling path enters or exits.
