Provided herein are a method for modulation of a variable binary offset carrier (VBOC) having a discrete time-variant frequency and a satellite navigation signal generator using the same. The method for modulation of a VBOC having a discrete time-variant frequency may comprise: generating navigation message data; generating a carrier; generating a VBOC subcarrier; generating a pseudo-random code; synthesizing the pseudo-random code and the VBOC subcarrier; and synthesizing a synthesized signal of the pseudo-random code and the VBOC subcarrier, the carrier, and the navigation message data.

Disclosed is a hybrid direction detection apparatus and method that may perform a precise direction detection through a one-time rotation of a log period (LP) antenna and a one-time phase difference measurement of a dipole antenna and may remove an ambiguity error of the LP antenna by two dipole antennas spaced apart by a distance of about 0.5&#x3bb; by finding an approximate direction using the LP antenna that is a directional antenna, by measuring a phase difference between arrival waves using two baselines including two dipole antenna in the corresponding direction, and thereby precisely finding a final direction.

Apparatus and method for generating satellite navigation signal based on software

Provided is a method and apparatus for removing a spoofing signal. The apparatus may convert a global positioning system (GPS) signal from an RF signal to an IF signal, and remove a spoofing signal based on whether the spoofing signal is present in the RF signal. The apparatus may obtain and track the spoofing signal using the IF signal, and generate a characteristic of the spoofing signal. The apparatus may generate an anti-spoofing signal by shifting a phase of the spoofing signal 180 degrees based on the characteristic of the spoofing signal.

An apparatus and method for processing a navigation signal are provided. When a navigation signal is received and processed, a search range associated with signal processing may be reduced by directly computing a clock offset of a receiving terminal, and accordingly it is possible to reduce an operation amount associated with the signal processing, and an amount of a power consumed by the receiving terminal.
