An apparatus and method for controlling a linear compressor with an inverter unit. In the apparatus and method, a capacitor is connected between a driving motor and an inverter unit that applies a voltage to the driving motor according to an output frequency thereof, thereby preventing a jump phenomenon due to an inductance of the motor coil. Furthermore, the linear compressor is precisely controlled through the inverter unit, thereby enhancing stability of the apparatus.

In a compressor, a motor includes a stator and a moving member that reciprocates. A frame supports the stator and a conductivity member flows at least a portion of magnetic flux flowing away from the stator back to the stator. Accordingly, the reciprocating compressor has enhanced energy efficiency.

A stator fixing apparatus of a reciprocating compressor comprises a first frame on which a plurality of first core blocks, each comprising a plurality of laminated stator core sheets, are radially coupled, the plurality of first core blocks being coupled to one side surface of a bobbin body, and a second frame on which a plurality of second core blocks, each comprising a plurality of laminated stator core sheets, are radially coupled. The plurality of second core blocks are coupled to the other side surface of the bobbin body. A coupling portion is provided at each contact portion between the first core block and the second core block, for coupling the first and second core blocks. Thus, deformation of an initial shape of the stator or increase of a defect rate due to a molding material can be prevented, and heat and moisture can easily be discharged, so as to improve the efficiency and reliability of the reciprocating compressor.

A stator for a reciprocating motor includes a coil winding in which a coil is wound plural times, and fixed and insulated with a bonding material distributed between gaps of the wound coil, an insulation band formed in a circular band shape along an outer circumferential surface of the coil winding, an annular bobbin coupled to both side surfaces of the coil winding and covering the coil winding together with the insulation band, a plurality of core blocks coupled on the bobbin in a circumferential direction, and an inner core inserted with a certain interval from the circular inner circumferential surface formed by the bobbin and the plurality of core blocks.

Stator for reciprocating motor and fabrication method thereof

Disclosed is a structure for fixing a motor stator of a reciprocating compressor, the reciprocating compressor comprising: a frame unit mounted in a casing and elastically supported; a reciprocating motor including an outer stator coupled to the frame unit, an inner stator inserted into the outer stator, and a mover inserted between the outer stator and the inner stator; and a compression unit for compressing a refrigerant by receiving a linear-reciprocation driving force of the reciprocating motor, wherein the inner stator and the frame unit contacting the inner stator are coupled to each other by welding. According to this, the structure is simplified and a fabrication cost is reduced by facilitating a fabrication.

Structure for fixing motor stator of reciprocating compressor

Disclosed herein is a linear motor in which a plurality of coil groups are connected in series or in parallel and driving power is applied to part or all of the coil groups according to load applied to the linear motor, thereby achieving improved motor efficiency with a reduced motor size. The linear motor includes a bobbin, the plurality of coil groups wound on the bobbin, the plurality of coil groups being connected in series or in parallel to allow the driving power to be applied to part or all of the coil groups, and a magnet adapted to be linearly reciprocated by a magnetic field produced by the coil groups depending on load current flowing through the coil groups. As a result of connecting the plurality of coil groups, which are formed of a plurality of coil conductors, in series or in parallel, the capacity of the coil groups is variable depending on the load of the motor, resulting in improved motor efficiency. Also, using the coil conductors having a small cross sectional area enables reduction in the size of the motor.

A reciprocating compressor includes a front frame; a middle frame positioned with an interval from the front frame; an outer stator having a winding coil and coupled between the front frame and the middle frame; a cylinder coupled to the front frame; a magnet mounting inner stator having a protruded pole portion at both ends thereof and linear-movably inserted into the outer stator; a magnet mounted at an outer circumferential surface of the magnet mounting inner stator; a piston inserted into the cylinder; a connection unit for connecting the piston and the magnet mounting inner stator; a resonance spring unit for resonating the piston and the magnet mounting inner stator; and a valve assembly for opening and closing a gas flow path so that gas can be sucked into the cylinder and compressed as the piston is linearly-reciprocated. According, the amount of the expensive magnet used is reduced, an output of a driving motor is enhanced, and components are simplified.

An outer stator of a reciprocating compressor comprises: a bobbin formed as a ring shape and provided with a winding coil therein; an outer stator frame coupled to an outer circumferential surface of the bobbin and formed of a magnetic body in which a flux flows; a plurality of first core blocks coupled to the outer stator frame and positioned radially at one side of the bobbin; and a plurality of second core blocks coupled to the outer stator frame, facing the first core blocks, and positioned at the other side of the bobbin. Accordingly, deformation which may occur during manufacturing can be prevented, and a size of a motor can be minimized.
