A golf club head with a hosel hole cover that helps improve the performance of the golf club head is disclosed. More specifically, the present invention relates to a golf club head having a hosel hole cover at a bottom portion of an interchangeable connection system that not only provides improved performance of the golf club head by strategically utilizing an existing opening to adjust the weighting of a golf club head, but it also improves the aerodynamics of the golf club head by eliminating undesirable recesses that could be detrimental to the aerodynamics of a golf club head.

A golf club head includes: a body having an outer surface; a recessed channel formed in the outer surface; and a weight assembly including: a weight at least partially disposed within the recessed channel and configured to move therein, a cover configured to engage with the body such that the cover at least partially covers the recessed channel; and a fastener selectively movable along a fastener axis, and configured to lockingly engage with an end of the cover.

An iron-type golf club head incudes a body, a recessed channel, and a weight assembly. The body includes a striking face, a sole, and a back portion positioned between the sole and the striking face. The recessed channel is formed in the back portion. The weight assembly includes a weight at least partially disposed within the recessed channel and configured to move therein, a cover, and a fastener coupling the cover to the body and configured to retain the weight in the recessed channel indirectly by the cover.

The golf club head includes a frontal portion and a rear portion formed of a thermoplastic composite material. A golf club head having a slot in the sole filled with an insert in which the slot is positioned close to the striking face. The slot can be a uniform distance from the striking face or the slot can curve away from the striking face in the toe region. The insert can have a uniform height or a non-uniform height. Inserts with uniform heights can have a low height profile. Inserts with non-uniform heights can have a lower height in a central portion of the insert compared to an edge portion or a perimeter portion of the insert. The insert can also have flanges or protrusions for installation into the slot. The resulting golf club head improves performance, as the sole slot with insert allows the striking face to have a profile that meets the needs at that location.

The present invention relates to a golf club head having an adjustable weight assembly. More specifically, the adjustable weight assembly utilizes a weight member that's secured via a fastener along various positions within an elongate channel.

A golf club head that is capable improving on the inertia properties of a golf club head all while also improving the Center of Gravity (CG) location is disclosed herein. More specifically, the golf club head in accordance with the present invention achieves a relative low Moment of Inertia (MOI) about the Z-axis (MOI-Z) as well as a relatively low MOI about the Shaft-axis (MOI-SA), all combined with a high MOI about the X and Y-axis (MOI-X and MOI-Y) and maintaining a consistently and relatively low CG location measured along a direction tangent to the hosel axis along the X-Y plane (CG-B). The golf club head includes a frontal portion and a rear portion, each including one or more cantilevered extensions and one or more elongate protrusions that collectively constitute a snap fit mechanism adapted to removably couple the frontal portion to the rear portion.

A golf club head includes a body having an outer surface with a recessed channel formed therein. A weight assembly that includes a weight at least partially disposed within the recessed channel, a cover extending over the recessed channel, and a fastener coupling the cover to the body. The fastener is adapted to retain the weight in the recessed channel only indirectly by the cover. The weight assembly is selectively positionable between at least three configurations: a first configuration where the weight is secured within the recessed channel; a second configuration where the weight is slidable within the recessed channel; and a third configuration where the weight is completely removable from the golf club head. The cover is coupled to the body in all three configurations.

The golf club head also includes a weight assembly having a weight at least partially disposed within the recessed channel and configured to slide therein. A cover having a first end and an opposite second end, the second end including a projection, and a fastener coupling the first end of the cover to the body. The fastener secures the first end of the cover to the body while the projection of the second end of the cover engages with the chamber of the recessed channel to retain a position of the weight within the recessed channel between the first end and the second end of the cover.
