A display device includes: a display panel including a plurality of pixels; a data driver configured to supply a black voltage to the display panel; and a controller configured to: set an initial driving power voltage of the display panel; decide a bright spot voltage of the display panel while the data driver is supplying the black voltage to the display panel; and set any one of the bright spot voltage and the initial driving power voltage as a final driving power voltage.

Display device and driving method thereof

A display device includes an image controller that analyzes first image data to determine whether a same image is displayed for no less than a predetermined threshold time. The image controller sets a low grayscale region having grayscale values of no more than a predetermined threshold low grayscale value when the same image is displayed for no less than a threshold time. The image controller then receives second image data and transmits a control signal to allow a transistor hysteresis reset signal to be transmitted to pixels of the display in the low grayscale region. A data driver transmits the transistor hysteresis reset signal to the pixels in the low grayscale region based on the control signal.

Display device and method of driving the same

A liquid crystal display device that can reduce picture quality deterioration due to a kickback voltage and can accurately detect a kickback voltage is provided. The liquid crystal display device includes: a liquid crystal panel including a detector configured to generate a kickback voltage detection signal, a detection line for supplying the kickback voltage detection signal, and a ground pattern along and adjacent to one side of the detection line; and a common voltage generator connected to the detection line and configured to generate a common voltage corresponding to the kickback voltage detection signal and to supply the generated common voltage to the liquid crystal panel.
