A light module includes a first light emitter, a second light emitter, a third light emitter, and a controller. The first light emitter is configured to emit a first light having a first peak wavelength in a visible range, the second light emitter is configured to emit a second light having a waveform having a second peak wavelength higher than the first peak wavelength, and the third light emitter is configured to emit a third light having a third peak wavelength that is shorter than the first peak wavelength. The controller is configured to control the first light emitter, the second light emitter, and the third light emitter to generate a first light pattern and a second light pattern. The first light pattern comprises a first light spectrum and the second light pattern comprises a second light spectrum including at least one more peak wavelength than the first light spectrum.

Light source including light emitters having different peak wavelengths

A light source can include at least one light emitter and is configured to emit a first light during a region of a light period and emit both the first light and a second light of a different wavelength during a remaining region of the light period. The emitter can include semiconductor layers and an active layer configured to emit light having a specific wavelength due to a band gap difference in an energy band depending on a material used to form the active layer. A plant cultivation device can include the light source and a main body in which a plant can be grown. The light period can be configured to increase a content of an active ingredient in the plant. The first light can have a longer peak wavelength than a peak wavelength of the second light.

A light source unit for plant cultivation includes: a first light emitter emitting a primary light and a converter disposed on a path of the primary light to produce a first light, and a second light emitter emitting a second light, wherein combined light emitted from the first light emitter and the second light emitter produces a basic spectrum including at least three peak wavelengths, with a difference between relative intensities of at least two of the peak wavelengths being less than 20%.

Disclosed herein are a light source module for plant cultivation and a light device including the same. The light source module for plant cultivation may include at least one main light source emitting white light. The white light from the main light source is provided to a plant during cultivation to improve the growth and phytochemical content of the plant. In addition, the white light may have peak wavelengths of 430 nm or less, 440 nm to 460 nm, 510 nm to 530 nm, and 600 nm to 630 nm.

A light source includes a controller configured to turn on or off a plurality of light sources depending on a light period. The controller can be configured to turn on the light sources during each of a plurality of light periods such that the light sources emit a light having a spectrum with a plurality of peaks toward the plant. A plant cultivation light module includes a first light source, a second light source, and a controller. The first light source includes a first light emitter configured to emit first light having peak wavelength in a visible range and second light emitter configured to emit second light having a longer peak wavelength to the first light. The second light source includes a plurality of third light emitters configured to emit third light having a shorter peak wavelength to the first light. The controller is configured to control the first light emitter, the second light emitter and the plurality of third light emitters and provide a first light pattern and a second light pattern. The first light source supplies light of the first light pattern and the second light source supplies light of the second pattern to the plant, respectively.

A light device for plant cultivation is disclosed. The light device for plant cultivation includes a light source unit including multiple first light source modules and multiple second light source modules. The multiple first light source modules and the multiple second light source modules may emit light for plant cultivation toward a plant. The multiple first light source modules are arranged at constant intervals. The multiple second light source modules are disposed at least between a pair of first light source modules disposed at both ends of the light source unit.

A plant cultivation light source includes a plurality of light sources configured to be turned on or turned off depending on a selected plant and a growth stage of the selected plant, and a controller. The controller is operable to turn on the light sources during a light period such that the light sources are operable to emit a light having a spectrum with a plurality of peaks to the selected plant. The light period including a first period and a second period and the first period preceding or following the second period. The controller is operable to adjust the spectrum of the light to alternate the first period and the second period during the light period.

An LED light source unit for plant cultivation includes: at least one first light emitting diode chip emitting light of 430 nm or less, at least three types of phosphors excited by the at least one first light emitting diode chip, and combined light emitted from the first light emitting diode chip and the at least three types of phosphors produces a basic spectrum of white light having a color temperature of 5000K or more.
