The embodiments relate to a polyester film, and a laminate and a foldable display device comprising the same. As the polyester film has a yield elongation in a specific range, it can be excellent in folding characteristics, along with high surface hardness.

The polyester film according to the embodiment can maintain its original characteristics even after a plurality of repeated folding by adjusting the deformed dimension as compared with the initial dimension of the film, in particular, by adjusting the ratio between the deformed dimensions in two in-plane directions perpendicular to each other to a specific range, in the cycle of straining and relaxing the film. Accordingly, the polyester film can be applied to a cover of a flexible display device, in particular, a foldable display device to exhibit excellent characteristics.

Polyester film and flexible display device comprising the same

A polyester-based film having excellent scratch resistance, durability, transparency, and visibility and a process for preparing the same. The polyester-based film comprises a base layer and a coating layer on at least one side of the base layer. The light passage according to Relationship 1 is 91% or more, or the total transmittance for light of 380 nm to 780 nm is 92% or more, it has excellent optical properties, durability, visibility, and reliability. The polyester film according to an embodiment has a coefficient of determination (R) of the strain with respect to stress and a crystallinity adjusted to specific ranges, whereby it is possible to achieve the flexibility that does not cause deformation even when a certain stress is sustained for a long period of time and the resistant characteristics to the impact of external pressing. Accordingly, the polyester film can be applied to a cover of a flexible display device, in particular, a foldable display device to exhibit excellent characteristics.

As a result, it is possible to maintain the original characteristics when it is applied to a cover of a flexible display device and subjected to a plurality of repeated folding. Accordingly, the polyester film can be applied to a cover of a flexible display device, in particular, a foldable display device to exhibit excellent characteristics.
